In 1955, Shree Subbayya Garu started it in Kakinada, AP as a


small mess to provide meals a just Rs. 50 paisa. His immense
efforts, home-like hospitality and of course the love for the art of
cooking soon spread far & wide and this tiny mess evolved into
the Legendary Subbayya Gari Hotel.
