Vistamaxx™ Performance Polymer 8580

Propylene Elastomer

Product Description Key Features

Vistamaxx™ 8580 performance polymer is primarily composed of • Low density
isotactic propylene repeat units with random ethylene distribution, and is • Very low viscosity
produced using ExxonMobil’s proprietary metallocene catalyst
technology. It has very low viscosity that enables its use in hot melt • Low odor and low color
adhesives (HMAs) and as a process aid or viscosity modifier in extrusion • Non-corrosive
and injection molding applications providing enhanced flow
characteristics that can lead to efficiency and cycle time improvements. It
is available in pellet form.
