Economic Status Of The Middle Class
After the Financial Crisis of 2008 the economic status of the country began taking a toll on the
middle class. As the years have progressed, the increase in inequality without any aid to these hard
working middle class families has grown to be a problem for Americans. Currently, the attitude of
the American middle classis that they are being ignored by the United Statesgovernment. This comes
from many factors that have diminished the value and definition of a middle class American, in
addition to forcing these Americans to struggle to make ends meet. The sense of pride of being a
working middle class American has lost its appeal and has changed the predisposition of what it
means to live above the means. Middle class families are struggling to provide necessities for their
children. They are constantly worrying about how they will stretch their incomes and provide a
comfortable lifestyle for their families. In order to provide immediate relief to the middle class
action must be taken directly by the United States government. This concern for direct impact is
shown with the initiatives by Democratic partyleaders to aid the middle class. The Democrats have
been strong proponents of pushing the middle class back up to its previous standard. They have
actively defended the middle class, showing their support for immediate reform that would benefit
specifically middle class workers. The middle class has continued to shrink and without action taken
immediately this problem
Lady Gag Just Dance
Ra, Ra, Oh, La, La, want your Bad Romance, was lyrics to one of the world s most outrageous,

Though, something was telling her that her time was now, and she needed to make it big soon,
she just had a feeling something big was going to come. So, she dropped out of Tisch and began
sinning a dive bars and performing at go go dancing clubs, until someone notices her talent. Akon
was the one who discovered this amazing dime, and signed her under one of his labels,
Interscopes. Then it was just history from there on, making headlines, changing pop music, and
taking risk no other pop star at the time would take. As Lady Gaga keeps growing into her career,
she has already accomplished so much in a time span of 8 years now, that it seems that nothing can
slow her down. With her first album, The Fame, selling 28 million records alone worldwide, and
her third album, Born This Way, selling 1.2 million records in just one week. It s hard to say
there isn t anything she can t sell. She has garnered 6 Grammys over the years and over 380
awards for her music, acting, and foundation organization. But not all this came without a price to
pay. Gaga has dealt with public hate, rape, substance abuse, depression, and family withdrawals.
Through Gaga s music you can always hear her pain, struggle, and heartbreak, and that s just
another reason she is so easy to connect with, because she makes it easy to relate to her as a
human, not some God . Once Gaga released her most inspirational album, Born This Way, she
gained millions of new fans that loved her for giving them the ability
Dare Jump Short Story
Don t do it Darius! Don t you dare jump! I said while my sister did the four point cross sign with
her fingers and said Rest in peace and I hope you go to heaven . Who says that to a person that
didn t jump yet is what I thought at that moment. Stop. Stop. Stop. Let s go to the beginning shall
we. My family and I were in Pershing Field Park when this happened. I met up with some of my
friends that were screaming at the top of their lungs to what seemed to me as nothing in the
beginning. While I focused and put on my glasses which I have to have off unless I risk breaking
them. I saw him. Darius a class mate and friend that I don t associate with at all after school was
there. He, as I saw it was standing on top of two bars that no one is supposed to be near. Those
bars that still are restricted to kids and adults alike are a part of a swing set playground hybrid;
that had monkey bar extensions. Darius is a dare devil. When he was dared jump I knew that he
was going to jump; he never liked being called a chicken and would do most dares. As he wound up
for the leap, one thoughtwas running through my mindhe was going to die or break a leg. Even
though this was serious everyone was smiling and some were laughing even me. At that time I just
thought that if he was to jump he would make it but I tried to stop him anyway. Now you must be
wondering how high up he is and what is he jumpingon to and how far away it is and if his shoes
slip or something happens to him. He was
Juxtaposition In Bless Me Ultima
Bright white light of the New Mexico sun bathes and protects the small town of Guadalupe. Like his
parents and older brothers before him, young Antonio struggles to find his true inner self as his
parents push two family names on him. In Anaya Rudolfo s novel Bless Me, Ultima, Antonio is
ultimately a mixture between a Marez and a Luna, as seen through the juxtaposition between the
symbols of the moonand the sea, as well as Godand the Golden Carp. The moon that represents the
Luna family, and sea which connects to the Marez, are forces which push Antonio to make his
final decision about family. In the beginning, Antonio tries his hardest to please both of his
parents by combining their dissimilar ideas about his future. Although Antonio begins his life
thinking he is a mixture of both parents heritage, the juxtaposition of the symbols in the book
changes his mind on that, It is the blood of the Lunas to be quiet... They are quiet like the moon
And it is the blood of the Márez to be wild, like the ocean from which they take their name (Anaya
41). Aside from the obvious fact that the Spanish word for moon is, in fact, Luna, that family
represents the moon. The calmness of said moon contrasts with the wild men of the sea. Maria is
controlling of her family, similar to how the moon controls the sea. Each contrasting idea propels
Antonio in separate directions either towards the Luna priests or the Marez vaqueros. Despite the
fact that his mother wants to make a priest out of Antonio, the other side of his family thinks in
their own unique way, He is a Marez... His forefathers were conquistadors, men as restless as the
seas they sailed (Anaya 6). Once again, the contrary sides of Antonio s family pull him to the sea
instead of the moon. The true struggle Antonio goes through is choosing his own destiny, even
with the strong influences of both the moon and sea. Suddenly he has a moment of realization and
tells his uncle, I am Marez, ... That is right, you are a Marez first, then Luna (Anaya 250). Even
though he may think he is Marez first, he still lives with Luna blood coursing through his veins.
After all, he skipped a grade, which makes him a boy of learning. Then again, his adoration of
nature proves

Black Boy Richard Wright Key Characteristics
Richard is an unpredictable and inconsistent character. He is apprehensive yet secure, adamant yet
sympathetic, extremely intelligent yet absolutely humble. Black Boy examines the life of
Richard Wright starting from his abusive childhood and leading up to his oppressive adult life.
Richard s character was sculpted by multiple events during his lifetime. Some of these events
affected him positively while others just made his life more difficult. Richard s greatest trait
would be his intelligence. It started out as a mere interest for books when Ella read him his first
book and then it turned into something more. Furthermore, Richard s mother teaches him how to
be aggressive and stand up for himself. Even though it helps it also causes lots of violent
confrontations on his behalf. After his mother s paralysis, Richard s life takes a turn for the worst
as he starts lying and stealing in order to make enough money to go to the North. After moving to
Chicago and facing some rough patches, Richards seems to have found himself after he joins the
John Reed s Club and the Communist Party. When things turn sour with the party Richard gains the
characteristic he was lacking in order to be successful courage. Richard Wright is a contradictory
character with no consistent characteristic besides his belief in his own self worth and capability,

Abstract

Solving My People Puzzle Phase 1 involves discovering my personality. This paper will bring to
light how I operate through the descriptions that are provided, throughout this paper. Part of this
assignment, I had to submit a survey to at least two of the people who knew me best and they had to
describe me based on the questions that were on the survey. I also had to participate on an online
assessment and disclose its results. This journey of discovering me, made me come face to face

The next range is from 24 to 120 which is extremely high. Anything below 24 is extremely low
stress level. This mean, that the delivery of subject matter or comfort ability conversation

with intensity and fear of conversation in unfamiliar/familiar group discussions. I find this to be
accurate because I love speaking in public and I also love interacting within a group of familiar
/unfamiliar team members. I am often called upon to be the spokesperson within in my group and I
really enjoy it. I feel honored being the representative of someone who may not have a voice in
anything. I am comfortable in group, meetings, dyadic, and public speaking engagements and it

Non Kill Animal Shelter Research Paper
How would you like to spot an adorable pet being ready to adopt. Later to find out that it had been
euthanized. This happens everyday tow tons of people that happened to spot that animal at a
traditional shelter. Non kill animal shelters should replace way traditional shelters so that no
traditional shelters exist. The first reason I agree with this statement is because they re are more
adoptions likely to take place in a non kill animalshelter, rather than a traditional animal shelter. The
article states, Adoption guarantee (no kill) shelters her it everyday. I came to your facility to adopt
because you don t kill animals here. This means that a lot of customers came to adopt an animal

People who love animals want to donate their money to agencies that save animals, says the article.
That example represents the fact that if the shelter obtained a no kill policy, it would get donated
money to help care for find space for the animals. Also, it s said that no kill shelters are generally
more likely to get employees. As the staff will be able to get attached and gain a connection with
the animals without the possibility of having to euthanize them due to money and space issues.
That would be something the staff would appreciate. They would love to have a strong bond with
an animal without fearing to euthanize them. In conclusion, more people will apply for a job, as
well as more donations will take place at a no kill shelter. Although many shelters claim that a lot
of the animals they put down are unadoptable animals. Animals such as overly aggressive, harmful
animals, and wildly behaved as well. However, a ton of those animals have had truamatizing
experiences leading them to act the way they do. On the other hand, many of them were trained to
fight. Therefore, if the animals arent able to be adopted they should be able to live the final years
of their lives with no stress in a home, and with no
Cabeza De Vaca Dbq Essay
Imagine an explorer that is captured by Indians for two years and then have to example and find a

journey. Cabeza de Vaca was a Spanish explorer that landed on modern day Galveston Island,
Texas, Cabeza de Vaca was also captured by Indians during his trip. Cabeza de Vaca escaped after
two years of being captive. Cabeza de Vaca survived his journey because of his relationship he
built with most Indian tribes, his prior knowledge, and his ability to know a lot of languages.
Cabeza de Vaca escaped for a few reasons one being the good reputation that he made with
majority of the Indian tribes he crossed paths with. Cabeza de Vaca made a reputation with one
tribe by saving one of the Native Americans that had a arrowhead in their Chest (Doc C). Another

Truth Commission Reports in Argentina and Chile
In the late 20th century, the South American countries of Argentina and Chile went through two
considerably turbulent periods of violent clashes between governmental and military forces against
native citizens. These clashes not only caused severe damage within both communities but also led
to specific reconciliation recommendations by truth commission committees set out in Núnca Mas
and the Rettig Report. These specific recommendations not only aided in the reconciliation
process but also helped in the social, and political, development of both Argentinian and Chilean
society. These reports were translated into multiple languages; recorded scores of people, who
were hurt both physically and psychologically by these terrors, and mostly allowed for those with
no voice to be heard not only by the countries involved, but by the world as a whole. In the end, the
Argentinian and Chilean people effected by these atrocities not only were given the option of
knowing the history of their countries, but ultimately the ability to feel protected and valued in the
places they were hurt most. With the aide of truth commission report recommendations the societies
effected were given a new chance at healing and rehabilitating their country, which mostly was
destroyed both physically and mentally. These reports not only give a direct and unabridged
version of the story of the conflict, but also gave the victims of these countries, as well as the
world, one history they can all be agreed
Compare And Contrast King Of The Bingo Game And The Cask...
In most of the societies, there is discrimination. There are many reasons for it, for instance based
on religion, race, caste, sex, etc. If people are treated unfairly or overlooked they tend to become
anti social or possess criminal behavior. They feel frustrated of the system because they can not
even get what they deserve. This statement applies precisely on King of the Bingo Game and The
Cask of Amontillado . In both stories, protagonists are overlooked or treated unfairly which make
them anti social and force them to commit crime. To begin with, in both of these stories the
protagonist were not at their native place, they both were at different places. In The Cask of
Amontillado the character, Montresor, had a French name which reflects that he might be a French
but living in Italy between Italian community. Fortunato, the other character in the story, as the name
specifies is an Italian. Montresor does not like Italians. .... Fortunato, like his countrymen, was a

On the other hand, in King of the Bingo Game protagonist was an African American who left his
state in south to find a better future. He was from minority community and his grandparents were
slaves of white people. They were not having equal rights and were treated unfairly, even his name
was given by a white. Like Montresor, the unnamed protagonist of King of the Bingo Game felt
alienated among the whites. Folks down South stuck together that way; they didn t even have to
know you. But up here it was different. Ask somebody for something and they d think you were
