- Absolute interfile phase because there is

WHAT IS FOLIC ACID?


Folic Acid or folate is a B vitamin (B9) which
cannot be started in the body and needs to be
continuously supplied from the daily diet.

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF IFA?


Iron helps form red blood cells while Folic Acid or
Folate helps the body make healthy new cells,
form red blood cells and produce DNA, the
building block of the human body.

It prevents certain neural tube birth defects.

HOW DO I TAKE IFA?


After meal time, either after Intermittent WIFA supplementation
breakfast or after lunch will be given in two rounds:
1st round: 1 tablet weekly for 12 weeks
(3 months)

2nd round: 1 tablet weekly for 12 weeks
