DISCIPLINE AND DECORUM
SRC expects each student to adhere to a high standard of decorum, discipline, and
morals. There is a set of rules and regulations which every student is expected to follow,
in the classroom, in the library, in the lobbies, corridors, within the school campus and
even if classes are conducted online.
1. All students are subject to the rules and regulation of SRC.
2. To safeguard its ideals, SRC reserves the right to select its student and
establish conditions for admission and re-admission.
3. After proper investigation, SRC shall impose disciplinary and/or
administrative sanction on erring students commensurate to the nature and
gravity of their offense.
4. SRC also reserves the right to impose other requirements not contained in
the handbook, as shall affect the general well-being of the student body and
the school.
5. SRC may dismiss a student who fails to give satisfactory evidence of
sincerity or purpose and achieve cooperation with school authorities where
the requirement of conduct and academic work are concerned.

when the need arises.
THREE CATEGORIES OF ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS:
The three (3) categories of administrative sanction which may be imposed upon erring
students commensurate with the nature and gravity of violation of school rules and
regulation committed are:
1. Dropping-SRC may drop from its rolls during the school year or term a student who
is considered undesirable and/or who has used all his allowed number of absences.
The student who is dropped should be issued his transfer credentials upon request.

maximum period not exceeding 20% of the prescribed school days.

which debars the student from all public and private schools. To be valid and
effective, the penalty of expulsion requires the approval of the Secretary of
Education. Expulsion is usually considered proper punishment for gross misconduct
or dishonest and/or offense as hazing, carrying deadly weapons, immorality,
drunkenness, use of prohibited drugs and/or substance, bribery, extortion,
assaulting a teacher or any other school official/ authority or his agent or students,
instigating, leading or participating in concerned activities leading to a stoppage of
classes, preventing or threatening students or faculty members or school authorities
from discharging their duties or from attending classes or entering the school
premises, forging transfer credentials and organizing of fraternities to the same
whether inside or outside the school campus (DepEd order No. 2 Sec 1991).
Before the school imposes the mentioned sanction/s, there will be proper investigation
by the members of the board of discipline wherein the student accused will be entitled to
due process of law, to wit:
a. He will be given a notice stating the specific charges against him.
b. Hearing will be held where both sides involved in the case are heard.
c. He will be presented with a statement of the facts.
He will be allowed to present his oral or written testimony on his behalf, and
