The current [Link] rate is 3%. (It was 5% one year ago). The stock is currently selling for $50, down
$4 over the last year, and has paid a dividend of $2 during the last year and expects to pay a
dividend of $2.50 over the next year. The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) composite has gone
down 8% over the last year, with a dividend yield of 3%. HeavyTech Inc. has a tax rate of 40%. a.
What is the expected return on HeavyTech over the next year? b. What would you expect
HeavyTech s price to be one year from today? c. What would you have expected HeavyTech s
stock returns to be over the last year? d. What were the actual returns on HeavyTech over the last
year? e. HeavyTech has $100 million in equity and $50 million in debt. It plans to issue $50
million in new equity and retire $50 million in debt. Estimate the new beta. a. Using the CAPM,
we compute the expected return as 0.03 + 1.2(0.0792) = 12.5%. We use a T‐bill rate, because the
focus is on the short‐term expected return (the next year). For the same reason, we use the market
premium over bills. b. The cum‐dividend price, one year from now, would be $50 *(1 + 12.50%)
= $56.25. The ex dividend price, assuming that the stock price goes down by the amount of the
dividend is $56.25 $2.50 = $53.75. c. Over last year, the expected return would have been
0.05+1.2*0.0792=14.5%.
Italian Immigration 1870-1930
Between the years of 1870 and 1930, there was an influx of about 5 million Italian immigrants
seeking a new life in the US, out of the 5 million immigrants who arrived there, 4/5 were from the
South of Italy. Most Italians left their native land in pursuit of a more economically stable,
prosperous and happy life didn t come without prejudice, racism, animosity and questions. For, the
Italian Immigrants that were seeking this fruitful life across in America, the main and concerning
question was of their own culture, ethnicity, and race. Going to the US meant leaving behind all that
was familiar and accepting, and become white . To hold truthfully to this custom one must obey and

1000 feet of Category 6 cabling can be purchased from Amazon for $54.99or 500 feet of Category
5 cabling can be purchased from Amazon for $31.99 (See references for link to site). It is difficult
to determine how much cabling is needed at this time to come put with a final estimate. I would
also recommend buying cables in different jacket colors to help differentiate between network
devices if possible. This will help to narrow down troubleshooting issues with in the office. If
someone loses connectivity you will be able to find the root of the issue much faster.

Server
You will need a server that will handle the 200 employees you have now with room to grow for
the 350 you expect to have in the next year. The server will provide management of the system and
act as a Domain server and will set unique username and password to access the system. I
recommend the Lenovo ThinkServer RD650 at $5439.81.

The audience at a Baptist church is much more

interactive than at a catholic or orthodox church. After Pastor Victor s sermon had ended, many

headed downstairs for fellowship and refreshments. My experience at Central Baptist was

extremely welcoming and comfortable, and I would not mind attending again.

The word Orthodox takes its meaning from the Greek words orthos, which means right

and doxa, which means belief. Hence the word Orthodox, which means right thinking ( BBC

Religions Christianity: Eastern Orthodox Church ). Eastern Orthodoxy arose after the Great

Schism between Eastern and Western Christianity. There are several different views between

Eastern Orthodoxy and other Christian denominations, like theophanies from the Bible, the Holy

Spirit, and the resurrection of Christ. In the Orthodox Church, the bible is almost the same as the

bible in Western Christianity churches, except the New Testament is based on the ancient Jewish

translation into Greek which is called Septuagint ( BBC Religions Christianity: Eastern

Orthodox Church ).

Bruce Springsteen s Almost Dreamlike Song Nebraska
In Bruce Springsteen s almost dreamlike song Nebraska he sings about Charles Starkweather and
his girlfriend Carol Fugate. A young couple that went on a killing spree over eight days in
Nebraska in the 1950s, killing ten people. The song is short and intimate despite it being a first
person narrative of a serial killer. Springsteen writes, They wanted to know why I did what I did
Well, sir, I guess there s just a meanness in this world. as the last words of the song. This ending
coupled with the historical background expresses a few themes that I believe Springsteen wanted to
convey. The first being that people always seem to search for meaning in things, that sometimes
have no meaning at all. Secondly, that isolation and loneliness can be a hard thing to cope with, and
it is something that I have had to experience and learn throughout my life.... Show more content on

The feeling of loneliness can be like a trap, the more you fall in, the more challenging it can be to
get out. I first felt how isolating it can be as a little kid. My family picked up and moved to the
Caribbean when I was in the second grade for my father s work. Leaving all my friends behind
was just the start. I felt trapped by my lack of ability to communicate with the people around me,
and unable to relate to a culture that was so different from my own. I was only in the second grade
so over time though the feeling faded. Luckily I learned to connect and make friends, but that
memory has always stuck with me. That frustration with my inability to connect with others. There
is significance to me in being able to remember something so clearly from so long ago. When some
memories fade far too quickly. I presume Springsteen and many others can relate to how I felt, and
maybe Charles Starkweather did as

UNC Wilmington s Lesson Essay
The aftermath of Hurricane Matthew rivals the damage left by Hurricane Katrina, the damage
costs upwards of $1.5 billion for North Carolina alone. The water has yet to recede blocking major
roadways that are the only means of travel for the approximately 14,000 UNC Wilmington students
to get back on campus. Chancellor Sartarelli cancelled classes on Monday and Tuesday and later
sent another email to resume classes on Wednesday making students scramble to find a way back.
Samantha Dickerson, a freshman at UNC Wilmington, is from Hillsborough, North Carolina an area
unaffected by the flooding. She made her way back to campus on Monday, and event that could be
summed up in two words, scary and ridiculous.

Wilmington said they justified their ridiculous actions by saying our teachers would understand us
missing class, but every teacher is different. Some teachers will not accept any absences no matter
the circumstances, this was definitely not an exception, said Dickerson.
When Dickerson reflected on the whole situation, she said UNC Wilmington put students in danger
and will not own up to it.
The trek back to UNC Wilmington for the students after Hurricane Matthew was a nightmare.
According to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, the Tar, Lumber, Cape Fear, and
Neuse rivers were still rising and had yet to crest. Students had to find any route they could to return
in time for class on Wednesday, which had students panicking.
Jessica Goldberg, a freshman at UNC Wilmington, stayed safe in her home in Charlotte, North
Carolina away from the damaging wind rain of Hurricane Matthew.
She did not leave Charlotte until early Wednesday morning because of flooding on I 74. She was
angry that she had to miss class but did not want to risk driving through the flooding and felt it was
best to wait a little longer for it to
