Method of Preparation:
•Fine powders of all ingredients were taken in above mentioned quantity and mix
together in Khalva Yantra.
• Then Powder mixture was passed through sieve no 80.
• Collected material was stored in air tight container.
Observations:
- At the time of mixing , aromatic smell of karpura was felt.
- Grey coloured powder mixture was obtained.
Confirmative Test (Chief Desired Characteristic): grey coloured powder with
aromatic smell.
Precautions:
- Mixing and sieving should be done carefully to check the loss of material.

Discussion:
• Dashansanskara churna used as Dant Manjan ( Tooth powder).
• Khatika churna should be used after shodhana as per ref of R.T. 11/210.
In that water was added in Khatika and macerate thoroughly with hand
and kept undisturbed for 30 min. After that water was decanted and
Khatika was dried and collected as Shudha Khatika.
