HSE RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HSE ENGINEER

HSE Engineer will be assigned to all phases of the project. The HSE Engineer will create a
safe and environmentally responsible workplace, ensuring that the organization not only
meets regulatory requirements but also strives for continuous improvement in health, safety,
and environmental practices and accomplish the HSE goals and objective contained in this
HSE plan.

His Duties and Responsibilities are:

 Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate workplace hazards; develop and implement
risk mitigation strategies.
 Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, national, and international HSE regulations;
maintain documentation for audits.
 Training: Develop and conduct safety and environmental training programs; promote
a safety culture.
 Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents and near-misses; document
findings and corrective actions.
 Environmental Management: Monitor and manage environmental impact; oversee
waste management practices.
 Health and Safety Programs: Create and implement health and safety programs;
review and update regularly.
 Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans; conduct
drills and training.
 Safety Equipment: Ensure availability and maintenance of safety equipment; update
safety procedures.
 Collaboration: Work with other departments and external agencies on HSE issues;
communicate policies effectively.
 Performance Monitoring: Track HSE performance metrics; recommend and
implement improvements.
 Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections; address and
rectify issues identified.
