Yakima Case Study
In order to duplicate Angela Whitiker s success and increase mobility for the people of Yakima
we have to overcome the human capital, as describe by David Brooks. In order to do this, we
should Give the first generation policies access to schools, colleges and training facilities. Then
the second generation policies will help them develop the habits, knowledge and metal traits they
need to succeed as suggested by Brooks. In Yakima we could increase the amount of Government
aid to send first generations policies to school. Then the program could follow the second
generation policies by investing in them as well. Investing into a programs that helps people
complete college, schools, or training programs is a great idea to see them move up the ladder.
Such aid can be useful for people wanting to better them self s. There will be regulations to the
program for people how make their way into the system just to abuse the aid. Such guards will be
meeting a certain G.P.A, attending classes and passing classes. Basic standards to be in the program

Would reducing the amount of tax money that is spent on the military enough to have
significantly effect on funding programs that will help adults and children become mobile in the
class ladder have a bad outcome? The answer for that question would be no. The reason being that
U.S invest way too much in their military. NBC news reports that America spends $682 billion
dollar on their arm forces. Which is so much that Russia, China, and The U.K combined don t
compare to what the U.S. spends on their military. So don t you think with all this excess of money
we have wiggle room to help people become successful? To create success you need
Case Study Of Harley Davidson
One of the prominent growth of production in the automobile industry is the consumption of
heavyweight motorcycles. As considered USA and other parts of the Far East Asian countries were
witnessed on the same line of growth. From the generation of classic bikes such as Harley Davidson,
Honda and Ducati, the production of custom bikes developed, giving rise to the production,
employment and economic stability towards the automobileindustry and the business incorporated,
import and export market. Comparatively in 1981, Harley Davidson produced more motorcycles
which were to be sold privately and exporting to the foreign countries. The result initiated increased
in production, employment and financial stability in the market. At the same time,... Show more

Several products including heavyweight motor bikes such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and
Kawasaki were imported from Japan to raise the fundamental trade with the local citizens and to
maximize competitiveness with Harley Davidson and local producers. The case was filed Under

nation exports heavyweight engines which are more than 700 cubic centimeters during the
diminishing period of the local market, then the local company would have the right to file against
the country as a cause to serious injury or threat. From 1977 1981, motorcycles that were

The Stamp Act And The American Revolution
The American Revolution was a political change that occurred somewhere around 1765 and 1783
amid which pilgrims in the Thirteen American Colonies dismisses the British government and
privileged, toppled the power of Great Britain, and established the United States of America. The
Stamp Act was gone by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. The new duty was forced on all
American settlers and obliged them to pay an assessment on every bit of printed paper they utilized.
Ship s papers, authoritative archives, licenses, daily papers, different productions, and
notwithstanding playing cards were burdened. The cash gathered by the Stamp Act was to be
utilized to help pay the expenses of shielding and securing the American wilderness close to
What Is Cierra s Cultural Background
My journal is going to be over Cierra s cultural background. Cierra has a daughter named Chloe,
they both are the ones that make up their family. Cierra was also born in the united states. She
currently is working at AutoZone warehouse. In her family, she is of course the mother of Chloe
but isn t just her mom in this situation. Cierra also holds the father position which I find inspiring
because she is able to fill two spots for her daughter. I grew up half my childhood without my
father, so I understand her position by growing up and watching my mom raise three girls on her
own. Cierra s concept of health practice and belief in her familyis to make sure her daughter gets the

Model Of Atonement
2.The first model of atonement by the Church is the Christus Victor model, or the Satan model. This
model has three figures in it and they are God, Satan, and humanity. There are two versions of this
model. The ransom version and the cosmic battle version. With the ransom version Satan has control
over humanity, and all of their souls. Godhas to offer a ransom in order to free humankinds souls.
God makes the deal of handing over Jesusas a ransom payment to free the souls, and Satan proceeds
to kill Jesus taking it as a victory. Jesus then is resurrected allowing the return to God and the
victory for Christ. The souls of humanity are freed, and Jesus is still alive. It leaves the Satan with
nothing, and God with everything making Him the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This is a model of non violence, shows that atonement does not rely on punishment, and Jesus is
not a weak passive character. The symbols of God, Jesus, Satan, or humanity being taken in a
worldlier view that can provide a direct connection. This is a interpretation to the cosmic battle
where the main characters are metaphorically interpreted. Jesus was not this passive character, He
was an activist trying to make the Kingdom of God visible to humanity. An example is the Roman
Empire. The Roman Empire is Satan. They are a force that has a lot of power and control, but do
not recognize God as the true power of the universe. They are fighting to take control of the world,
and declare themselves kings and gods. They are not being humble and thanking God, and putting
their success in Him. In this case the Church is the representation of God. The Roman Empire does
not recognize the Church as the true power, and try to act without the Church on their side. Jesus
is sent as the embodiment of the Kingdom of God. He is sent to spread God s message, and show
people the light. Jesus is still put to death in this scenario, but it means something different. Jesus us
spreading a message against the Roman Empire, and talking about a power that is greater than them.
They are afraid of what Jesus is saying, and the following that is starting, and Jesus is put to death
because the Romans oppose the message. The
The Challenges Of Immigrants In South Africa
Countless United states citizens declare that immigrants come to the United States to break the
law, take jobs away from natives, and seek aid from the government. Many do not stop to ask the
question why immigrants come to this country? Or why are they willing to work at such a low
wage? Coming from immigrant family myself, I have been judged and condemned by my
background. But no one has bothered to ask my background story of what is feels to come from an
immigrant family. I feel no shame and I feel proud where I came from, several will say horrible
things about immigrants. Still I am one of the millions of immigrants that are in this country going
through similar challenges. As president of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, once mention Do not
judge me by my success, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.
I grew up in a Mexican household, even though I was born in the US. My first language was
Spanish. My parents use to work in the tobacco fields from 4:00 am all the way to 6:00pm in a
good day. While in school I was teased for not being able to speak English; or for dressing funny,
and always smelling like a farm, eating weird foods. I felt depressed at moments, but thankfully my
mother would always keep my mind busy. She would say The only people that are rich in life are
not the ones with money in their pockets, it s the ones that doesn t think twice to lend a hand to
someone in need.

Essay on Government Spending, Deficits, and Keynesian...
A growing government is opposite to America s economic interests because the various methods of
financing a government taxes, borrowing, and printing money have harmful effects upon the
economy. There are many reasons why there is a high deficit in the United States such as extensive
spending. This is true because government spending is often economically destructive, regardless of
how it is financed. There are many causes of the steady growth in U.S. trade deficits. There are
many people are against the high deficits especially economists.
Economists define government intervention in the foreign exchange market as the buying or selling
of foreign exchange for the purpose of manipulating the exchange rate. (Case, pg. 398) ... Show more

Yes, the reason for the high budget deficit matter because many economists feels as though this will
eventually affect our children and/or even our grandchildren. Not only that we must know how to
budget the money. The government needs to know if they need to offer higher interest rates to
attract enough buyers of government debt. Excess amount of borrowing adds to the National debt
which means the Government has to spend more each year. Another reason why it matters we
need to cut out and/or investigate where the wasteful spending is going and if we need to cut
back on public sector spending or by raising the burden. There are few programs I think that we
could cut to help in our financial situation right now such as public assistance. I am all for helping
people in need especially children, senior citizens, and disabled. However, I am not willing to
offer or give assistance to a person who abuses the system. I know several people who receive
public assistance and they are perfectly stable enough to work, but they rather not. If you have been
on the program more than 5 years you should be released. We have allowed some people to take
advantage and it has put a minor dent into the United States spending.
The Basics of Nutrition
Running Head: GETTING TO THE BASICS Nutrition Health Nutrition is the study of the
processes involved in the acquisition of substances, called nutrients, needed by a living organism
to survive and grow (Healia, 2009). The body of the organism cannot produce these nutrients on
its own and must thus be ingested from outside sources in sufficient amounts. Essential nutrients
must be ingested on a daily basis from the diet so that the body can perform normal functions on a
daily basis. They are called essential because the body s normal functions are dependent on them
on a daily basis (Healia). 2. Nutrition furnishes the body with the nutrients it needs not only to go
on living and to grow but also to maintain health (Healia, 2009). The nutrients must be ingested on
a daily basis in their recommended amounts. These essential nutrients are vitamins, minerals,
proteins, fats and carbohydrates. When there is a shortage, the body develops symptoms of
deficiency. The lack of Vitamin D leads to the softening of bones. Muscle cramps can mean a
deficiency in potassium. The lack of protein can lead to wasting of the muscles (Healia). 3.
Nutrients make the body function normally and grow (CDC, 2011). Six of these are essential
because the body cannot synthesize them. Proteins from foods replace broken down body proteins.
Excellent sources are meats, poultry, dairy products, eggs, and fish. Carbohydrates produce glucose
for energy. Good sources include cereals, dairy products

Calbuco Earthquake
On April 30, 2015, a volcano in Chile called Calbuco erupted for the third time in eight days.
Calbuco is located near the town of Puerto Montt. One witness, Gregorio Billikopf, said that this
eruption was not as dramatic as the previous eruptions that occurred on April 22 and 23. Others
have also observed that the most recent eruption of Calbuco was smaller than the earlier eruptions.
About 1,500 people were evacuated is what Deputy Interior Minister Mahmud Aleuy said. Due to
the steady decrease of seismic activity, the agency of geology in Chile warned of the chance of a
third eruption. Authorities in Chile have been keeping people away from a 12 mile exclusion zone
surrounding the volcano. In the previous week 4,400 residents were evacuated with assistance from
police and military. Ash from the second eruption spread all the way to Argentina. Not all
evacuations were for humans though, some included animals. In some places, the volcanic debris
has reached up to almost 2 feet high. New information claims that ash in the air could reach an
altitude of 12,000 feet. Last week, the town of Ensenada was blanketed in ash and the cities of
Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas were under a red alert.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
If I lived near Calbuco, I would probably leave and go on vacation for a week or something
because I think volcanic eruptions are scary. I also thought that the people who actually live in
Calbuco must have glad and relieved that this eruption was less powerful than the earlier eruptions.
One question I wondered about while reading this article was: Why has the Calbuco volcano been
erupting so much in only about a week when it hasn t erupted in nearly four decades? One statement
from the article that really shocked me was Ash spread to Argentina in the second eruption . I
wondered, How can volcanic ash travel that
Fracking Practice
The economic efficiency should be balance in a way that the producer can make profits, the public
can benefit with the services, the government collect the taxes from production and the most
important is the health of the population and the environment. Unfortunately, we have to keep our
economy in good status and continue helping our country to improve in the economic status view.
New technology and environmental laws has helped improved the way producers do business and
perform their natural product extraction. I will use for example fracking. Oil and gas companies
have found a way to produce natural gasby performing fracking practice. This practice is very
controversial because it uses a great amount of water and may cause earthquakes.
While the use of this technology has proven to be a game changer for increasing the domestic
production of oil and gas ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
We also have state and federal officials over watching the procedures and practices. These officials
also make sure the production wells are able to maintain integrity. Maintaining well integrity and
reducing surface spills and improper wastewater disposal are central to minimizing contamination
from the hundreds of chemicals found in fracturing fluids and from naturally occurring
contaminants such as salts, metals, and radioactivity found in oil and gas wastewaters (Jackson, et
al. 2014) If there is any problem with these wells, the operator knows that the emergency procedure
is to stop the process and report it. These well operators understand the laws, reporting procedures,
and well maintenance. Any well drilled into the Earth creates a potential pathway for liquids and
gases trapped underground to reach the surface. (Jackson, et al. 2014) Every year they have to
submit a report to the state or federal agencies to make sure the well is maintaining the integrity and
report the production of the oil and
The Importance Of Religion In Moby Dick
Many things in life can drive a person to pure joy, or to pure madness. Events happen and the
human mind can overload people into believing the improbable. In Moby Dick, Herman Melville
shows the audience that obsession can overwhelm a person and lead to the downfall of those
closest to them. . Obsessions can rule people s minds and either empower them or lead them into
bad circumstances. The narrator, Ishmael, questions one of society s biggest obsessions, religion.
Ishmael asks Why did the old Persians hold the sea holy? Why did the Greeks give it a separate
deity. Surely all this is not without meaning, (Melville 25). He sees that there is meaning behind
everything, and wonders to himself what the significance of religion is. Many people used to, and
still, use religion as a way to cope with situations. Religion can give a person hope in the worst
circumstances and can act as an outline. Through his interest in other people, Ishmael shows that he
is personable and cares about the depth of others. On the other side of the coin, religion can mean
something completely different to someone. Rogers states that it can act, As a symbol of both a
loving and a horrifically vengeful God (vengeful in this case because of the many attacks by
whalers), and presumed by superstitious seamen to be... ubiquitous in space, (Rogers). The obsession
of clinging onto one s religion can drive anyone mad at times, sometimes making people lose their
religion altogether. When someone starts
