Field Operator (Fractionation, Warm & Cold Section)
Role:
• Safely and efficiently operate and control ISBL units (acid gas removal, dehydration, mercury
removal, fractionation, boosting, refrigeration, LNG storage, BOG and LNG loading) from the site
outside the CCR as per the approved operating procedures, CCR operators guidance and according
to Field Supervisor instructions.
Main Responsibilities:
• Carry out all site activities to start up process units and equipment falling within the ISBL as per
start up procedures relevant to Black/Cold/Hot start up;
• Carry out facilities monitoring, data logging and operation of local control panels, equipment under
his area to report any faults or defects within his area. Where necessary take the 1st line action to
correct any abnormal situation to limit risk to personnel, plant equipments and production during
emergency situations. Proactively propose corrective actions to prevent incidents and escalations;
• Carry out all site activities to Shutdown process and equipment safely as per shutdown procedures
when required;
• Coordinate continuously with CCR operator to handle all plant operating activities;
• Carry out isolation, inerting and defrosting for equipments in his area;
• For all permits to work in his area, act as Area Authority, review and follow up and prepare
equipment for maintenance in his area;
• Carry out plant housekeeping program in his area;
• Monitor & effectively Control the consumption of chemicals;
• Participate in operating procedures continuous improvement and relevant improvement initiatives
by providing the inputs necessary to update them in frequent basis;
• Support maintenance activities within his area by shutting down equipment /process units and
preparing them for maintenance intervention in cooperation with CCR Operators;
• Support turnaround activities by shutting down the facility safely, preparing the process and
equipment for maintenance/inspection activities, carrying out the tests mandated by the turnaround
plan, preparing the process and equipment for restart and safely restart the facility after the
turnaround completion;

• Ensure proper shift hand over and reporting to the next shift;
• Ensure being updated with the latest standing instructions, modifications and procedures;
• Support operation training program by supporting the field Operator trainees during their OJT (On
Job Training);
• Participate in the Emergency Response Plan (ERP);
• Perform additional tasks, as required by the nature, specificities, and operational requirements of
the Company.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science: Minimum 6 years of experience, out of them 4 years
in LNG industry;
• High Technical School: Minimum 9 years of experience, out of them 6 years in LNG industry.
