A: Hey Dina! Long time no see.

B: Hey! Yeah, it’s been a while. How are you?


A: I’m doing well, thanks. How about you?
B: Pretty good. Just busy with work and, of course, music.
A: Ah, music. You still play guitar?
B: Absolutely. I play almost every evening. It helps me relax. What about you? Do you still
listen to jazz?

A: Definitely! Jazz is still my favorite. Lately, I’ve been listening to a lot of Miles Davis and
Chet Baker.
B: That’s cool. I’ve been getting into blues lately. B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughan—those
guys are legends.
A: Oh, nice. I like blues too, especially the guitar work. Do you write your own songs?
B: Sometimes. I usually just jam, but I’ve written a few lyrics recently. What about you—do
you play any instruments?

A: I play a bit of piano. Not very well, but enough to enjoy myself. I also tried learning
guitar, but my fingers gave up!
B: (laughs) It takes time. So, what kind of music do you listen to besides jazz?
A: Hmm… I also enjoy indie rock and some classical music. How about you? What’s your
favorite genre?

B: I love classic rock—Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd. But recently, I’ve been into lo-fi music
when I study or work.
A: Lo-fi? Yeah, I listen to that too when I read. It’s calming.
B: Exactly. Music really shapes the mood, right?

A: By the way, are you doing anything this weekend?


B: Not really. Just the usual stuff. Why?
A: I heard there’s a small live music event in the park on Saturday. Local bands, different
genres. Want to go?

B: That sounds awesome. What time does it start?


A: Around 5 p.m., I think. We could grab some snacks and find a good spot.
B: Yeah, let’s do it. It’s been ages since I saw live music.

A: Cool! I’ll bring a small blanket, maybe we can chill under the trees.
B: Sounds perfect. Should I bring my guitar?
A: Why not? Maybe you’ll find a jam session!

B: You know, it’s nice talking like this. We should do this more often.
A: Agreed. Music always brings people together.
B: So true. Next time, we should make a playlist together.
A: Great idea. Let’s each pick five favorite songs and share them.
B: Deal! This is going to be fun.
