Run For It

Run For It is a dice game where players aim to be the first to score 100 points using six 6-sided dice. Players roll to create a sequential straight starting with a 1, scoring points based on the number of dice in their straight, or can choose to risk re-rolling for more points. The game ends when a player reaches or exceeds 100 points, declaring them the winner.

Run For It

Riffle Shuffle & Roll: How To Play Run For It | dice games

Objective
Be the first player to score 100 points.

Materials
Six 6-sided dice
A way to keep score

How to Play
1. Play Order: Each player rolls one of the dice to see who goes first.
Highest starts first.
2. Start Your Turn: Roll all six dice. You must build a sequential straight,
starting with a 1 (e.g., 1-2-3).
If you do not roll a 1 on your initial throw, your turn ends and you
score 0 points.
Exception: If your initial roll has no 1s but contains a three-of-a-
kind (or more), you get to re-roll all six dice and start your turn
over.
3. Make a Choice: After setting aside dice for your straight, you can
either:
Stop & Score: End your turn and collect 5 points for each die in
your straight. (e.g., a 1-2-3-4 is worth 20 points).
Run For It (Press Your Luck): Re-roll the remaining dice to try
and roll the next number needed to extend your straight. If you fail
to roll the number you need, your turn ends immediately and you
score 0 points for that round.
Winning the Game
Play continues until a player reaches or exceeds 100 points. That player
wins immediately.
