Riffle Shuffle & Roll: How to Play Krig | a two player combat dice game

Objective
Be the last player standing with hit points.

Components (Per Player)

d20: Hit Points (starts at 20)
d6: Attack Die
d8: Defense Die
d10: Agility Die (for crits & misses)
d4: Parry Die

Player Actions
On your turn, choose one of the following three actions:

1. Attack:
Roll your Attack (d6) and Agility (d10).
The d6 result is the attack's damage.
The d10 determines the outcome: a 10 is an unblockable Critical
Hit, and a 1 is a Miss.
2. Defend:
Roll your Defense (d8) and add the result to your current Hit
Points as a temporary shield.
This shield takes damage before your actual HP.
Note. For a Critical Hit, all of the critical hit damage should be
applied directly to the HP counter. The defense die does not take
any of the damage.
3. Charge:
End your turn by declaring a charge.
On your next turn, you must perform a powerful attack by rolling
your Attack (d6), Defense (d8), and Agility (d10) together.
Total damage is the result of the d6 + d8. The d10 still determines
crits/misses.
Note: You lose any active defense points when you declare a
charge.

Reactions
Parry (Reaction to an Attack):

When you are hit by a normal attack (not a charge or critical hit), you
can attempt to parry.
Roll your Parry (d4). To succeed, your d4 roll must be equal to or
higher than the attacker's d6 roll.
Success: The attack is negated. It is now your turn.
Failure: You take the damage and lose your next turn.
Note: A player cannot parry while charging.

Winning
The first player whose Hit Points reach zero loses the game.
