REQUIREMENTS:
• A Grade 12 Certificate or an NQF level 4 relevant qualification with experience in an office
and administrative function environment
• A post matric qualification in Administration will serve as an added advantage
• Extensive knowledge of various filing systems and the National Archives Act
• Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Constitution, Public Service Act
• Experience in filing and document management
• Computer literacy
• Customer focused
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including week-ends and public holidays are
essential
• A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage.
DUTIES :
The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others, the following specific tasks:
• Perform general administrative activities in support of the unit. Draft submissions, reports,
submissions, memorandums and minutes for the unit
• Conduct records and document management both manually and electronically
• Arrange and co-ordinate meetings and workshops. Provide logistic support functions (make
accommodation, flight and ground transport arrangements)
• Assist in completing and processing subsistence claims
• Keep track of all incoming work and ensure that all deadlines are met
• Liaise with all stakeholders relevant to the office
• Administer leave arrangements
• Process forms and documents related to claims, payments, invoices and consultant fees
relevant to the office.

In a group of 10, you are required to divide the work amongst yourselves and prepare for
an interview:
• The group should have 5 panel members or interviewers (Administrator, HR
Representative, Director and Deputy Director and a Member of the Union-NEHAWU)
• The rest of the group members will be interviewees.
• Panel members must prepare 10 interview questions related to the job advert below
and interviewees must prepare for an interview.
• All members will be required to rate/score the overall interview based on their interview
conduct and candidate responses
• Dress code: all members to dress appropriate for a job interview and (Formal, Semi
Formal, Smart Casual)
