COVID 19
The year FY 20-21 was marked by one of the biggest global crises ever, owning to the
spread of COVID19 virus which was declared a pandemic by WHO (World Health
Organisation) and the Government of India decided to treat it as a notified disaster. Sigma
has actively supported to prevent the spread of COVID 19. We joined hands with the local
ecosystem of administration, hospitals, NGOs to provide them with daily life essentials.
Following activities were undertaken by the company for preventing the spread of
virus:
1. Distribution of masks, gloves and hand sanitisers.
2. Provision of ration kits and food packets to the community residing in surrounding
areas.
3. Awareness pamphlets printed and distributed.
4. Distribution of medicines for cure of disease.
5. Distribution of Oximeter and Oxygen concentrators.
6. Creating awareness about COVID 19, social distancing, it’s mode of spread and
method of prevention of infection.

Education creates plethora of opportunities that provide employment, improve the socio-
economic situations of poor and under privileged. In our endeavour to contribute our mite
to society, we have taken several small but meaningful steps assuring inclusive and
equitable education and learning opportunities, these are as follows:
1. Providing financial support to students from economical backward section of
society.
2. Providing scholarship to students residing near factory vicinity.
3. Providing donations to various NGOs engaged in promotion of Education viz.
CRY (Child Rights and You), SIMS Sansthan, HR Foundation, Midtown school
project of Rotary club of Jodhpur etc.
4. Donating computer systems, printers and other equipments to Government
school.
5. Curtailing of high dropout rate at nearby government schools by creating
infrastructure.
6. Promoting education of differently abled students by supporting NGO Navjyoti
Manovikas Kendra.
7. Improving academic performance and overall development.
Rajasthan is a state with literacy rate of 66.11%. We are contributing in the educational
field by providing desks, books, projectors, boards and other stationary items in various
government schools. In addition to this scholarships are also being given by us to the
underprivileged students.

infrastructure with the objective of encouraging more students to join school

Health care needs to be treated as a universal right and not a first –world privilege. In
India, healthcare is often beyond the reach of the poor. A fast- growing population,
changing disease profile, multi-layered healthcare system, paucity of medical personnel
and awareness and inaccessibility of quality healthcare services at an affordable cost are
some of the challenges the underprivileged face today.
Concerned about the acute lack of modern medical facilities in remote areas, dynamic
measures have been taken to bring healthcare within the reach of general public. Some of
our efforts in ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all are:
1. Organising blood donation camps.
2. Build infrastructure, enhance and support local hospitals and other health
initiatives of various NGOs.
3. Drinking water facility in nearby villages of manufacturing units.
4. Supporting NGOs in eradicating malnutrition among children.
5. Providing financial support to needy and poor patients.

In association with ROTARY BLOOD BANK, blood donation camps are regularly organised
within the company premises; our employees from all levels i.e. workers to top
management actively participate in donating blood as a service to humanity.

sound environmental performance. With efficient and optimum use of resources and by
encouraging recycling, we are constantly working to improve and contribute to the

Animal Welfare
Compassion for all living beings, large scale interference by humans in the animal world
and nature is causing immense suffering for animals and nature alike. To reduce the
suffering, we have partnered with various NGOs engaged in rescue and rehabilitation of
animals in distress.
