1. Our program’s core values, as described in our website, are grit, service, and networking. The first
two in particular make it a relatively tough program that really challenges you to step outside of your
comfort zone. There are alternative means to settle in Canada that are far more comfortable. Why
then would you want to join this program? (~5-6 mins)
2. When you think about joining this program to prepare for your future in Canada, what aspirations and
challenges/concerns do you anticipate (regarding you joining the program, not yourself coming to
Canada in general)? What further thoughts do you have about some (but not necessarily all) of them?
Please freely express your ideas and/or feelings. (~5-6 mins)

You can upload the video to a location of your preference, and then you can provide us a link to watch it.

Guidelines:
 Please spend sufficient time in thoroughly thinking about the questions as if you are doing it for your
own reflection. Please make sure you have studied the information provided by our website
projectemmanuel.com.
 Please talk in front of the camera throughout the recording, in English.
 Please speak naturally as if you are having a casual and informal chat with a friend, giving honest and
sincere opinions. We are not looking for professionally-styled presentations.
 For the second question, try to talk about at least 3 to 4 aspirations and challenges/concerns in total
(i.e., aspirations + challenges/concerns = 3 or 4).
 We ask you to then provide “further thoughts” – it is intentionally unspecific and open-ended, to allow
you enough freedom to decide how to go about further developing your thoughts regarding the
aspirations and challenges. We would like to know what the next step is within your own thought
process after an aspiration or challenge/concern has been identified.

advantageous because ours is a rolling admission system.
