STUDENT EXPECTATIONS DEVELOPMENTAL
DISCIPLINE
1. INTRODUCTION
The school’s approach towards discipline is for every student to
acquire self-discipline and be responsible conduct so as to
contribute to the overall well-being of all in the school. Every
student has the right to expect a conducive teaching and
learning environment. Likewise, every student has the
responsibility to contribute to that environment.
2. RULES & REGULATION
2.1 ATTENDANCE AND PUNCTUALITY
2.1.1 Attendance in school is compulsory.
Absence from school must be supported by a tangible reason.
Excuse from school may be granted on compassionate grounds
and on a case – case by basis. Letter of Excuse must be
submitted to the school supervisor. Absence without any valid
reason will be deemed as truancy.
(Failure to comply a student will not be posted to any station)
2.1.2 Students must be punctual for school, and all school
events. Students who are late for lectures are subjected to late
– coming procedures which include a report slip before they are
allowed back to class.
2.2 DAILY BASIS
2.2. 1 Students are expected to be in school by 8:30 for silence
hour before lectures start at 9am
(COMPULSORY)
2.3 GENERAL CONDUCT
2.3.1 All students are expected to a caring, persevering and
forward – looking person.
2. 3. 2 All students are to make good use of platforms created
for your development.
2. 4 FACILITIES
2. 4. 1 Do leave the areas in school in a better condition and
state of cleanliness after use.
2. 5. 2 Take good care of school properties and premises. Cost
of replacement for vandalized items will be borne by student(s)
responsible for the damage.
2. 4. 3 Food and all sweet drinks are to be consumed only in the
bin. Both class and the hostel
2. 5. CLASSROOM CONDUCT
2.5 1 Mobile phones should be on silence and no phone calls
during class’s hours
2. 5. 2 Work with all your classmates and teachers to achieve
optimal outcomes
2. 5. 3 All students must be punctual for lessons.
Attendance will be taken before the start of lectures
2. 5. 4 Students must not leave the classroom without
permission by teachers.
2. 6 MAINTAIN A CONDUCIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR
TEACHING & LEARNING
2. 6. 1 Keep the classroom clean and neat at all times.
2. 6. 2 Consumption of food and drinks are strictly not allowed
in classroom when class is in procession.
2.6.3 Show consideration to others by keeping the noise level
low.
PERSONAL GROOMING
2. 7 school Uniform In General
2.7.1 Students must wear the prescribed school Uniform
2.7.2 Students are to wear black shoes and blue & black jeans
or skirt all times whenever coming for lectures.
2.7.3 put on your id cards everyday on your neck (compulsory)
to class. Failure to comply to this will lead you home.
2.7.4 No insults to yourselves and any superiors in the school if
any of you ruin insults will lead that person (1 month
suspension) (STRICKLY)
2.7.5 No fight in the school or at the hostel. classroom reaps
should report any misconduct of any students to the schools
supervisor for appropriate check in
2.7.6. Fancy hair styling, tinting, dyeing, highlighting and
bleaching of hair are strictly not allowed for all students.
FOR BOYS
2.8.1 Male students must be neat in appearance and clean –
shaven at all times. No facial hair is allowed.
2. 9 FEES PAYMENT PLAN AND STATIONAL
POSTING
2.9.1 Student must be able to pay 80% of his\her fees at the
end of the second semester (Compulsory)
2.9.2 Anyone who fails to pay his\her school fees and
graduation fee before the end of the last semester shall
automatically not going to graduate and will be denied
attachment to any station and certificate as well
