Riffle Shuffle & Roll: How to Play Sevens | dice

games
Introduction & Setup

Welcome to how to play the dice game Sevens. All you need is a set of six
six-sided dice and a way to keep score. Before the game begins,
determine how many rounds you are going to play. The player with the
highest score at the end of that many rounds is the winner.

How to Play

First player takes the dice and rolls. That player must now remove any
two dice combinations that equal seven. So, a three and a four must be
removed. Three and four must also be removed. That leaves the first
player with two dice to equal three. This player can choose to roll again or
keep that score. We're gonna roll again. Eight. The player has now rolled
an eight. They can choose to keep that score or roll one more time. This
player chooses to keep that score.

Now it's the next player's turn. Since the first player rolled two times for
this round, every other player at the table gets a chance to roll two times.
So the next player goes. This player must now remove any two dice
combinations a equals seven. So we have a four and a three. Those are
removed. That leaves this player with a score of twenty-one. This player
can either choose to roll again or keep 21 as their score. They choose to
keep 21.

Now it is the next player's turn. This player now needs to get rid of any
combinations equaling 7. Four plus three. That leaves them with the score
of 9. This player chooses to roll one more time. Ooh, bad choice. Their
score is now 5. They must take the 5. They rolled 2 times. They do not get
any other chances this round.

At the end of the round, the player left of whoever went first previously
gets to go. They get up to three roles to score the best combination
possible.
