Ans. Jatin did not take care of the things he owned. He needed a new pair of shoes every
month and his clothes always tore after a few days of wear. These instances show that he
was a careless boy.

Ans. Jatin was scared after returning home from school because he had torn his new clothes
while climbing a tree and his sandals were also beyond repair. He knew that this would
make his father angry.
3. Explain the strange incident that took place when Jatin was climbing down the stairs.
Ans. When Jatin was climbing down the stairs, the ground under his feet slid away and
his torn sandals took him into the sky. When the sandals dropped him to the ground,
Jatin saw that he had reached a strange place with cobblers sitting all around.
