The Future Continuous

The Future Continuous is used:


1) to express an action in progress at a definite future moment.
We’ll just be beginning the experiments then, and my contract here ends this summer.

2) to express an action which the speaker expects to take place in the future in the natural course
of events. It may be used with or without time indications and generally refers to the near future
though it is also possible to use it for a more distant future.
e.g. Maurice is tired. He will be coming to bed directly.
Bob will not be coming. He’s been taken ill.

Time expressions:
while, when, at 5 o’clock tomorrow, this time next week/month/year, in 5 weeks / days /
years time

I. Open the brackets in the Future Continuous.
