ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

The Grade 7-LOYALTY conducted its first Homeroom – PTA MEETING for the
school year 2023 – 2023, dated October 02, 2023 – Monday at 9:00 o’clock in the
morning. There were 83% of attendees of the meeting. That’s 35 out of 42 expected
parents/guardians for the grade 7.

The class adviser prepared a PowerPoint Presentation for the 1 st HRPTA Meeting.
It was used to welcome the parents/guardians as they arrived one by one. The
attendees were able to write their attendance at the entrance of the classroom.

At exactly 9:00 o’clock in the morning, the meeting started with a prayer which
was a virtual prayer presentation. It was followed with the singing of the National
Anthem through a video presentation as well. After that, the class adviser welcomed
the parents with the greetings and also introduced himself with the aid of his
prepared PowerPoint presentation. Before the discussion of agenda, the class adviser
proudly presented the set of classroom officers and applauded by their parents.

Then, the agenda was presented and enumerated by the class adviser one by
one.

The agenda presented were:

3. GRADING SYSTEM AND CLASS SCHEDULE
4. SCHOOL/CLASSROOM REQUIREMENTS (PER SUBJECT, CLASSROOM

The class adviser immediately started the election of officers and Mrs.
Maricar Payla and Mrs. Eljane Panalas were nominated as president. Mrs. Payla
won thru voting and it was agreed by everyone that Mrs. Panalas will
automatically fill the position of Vice President.
These were the Duly-Elected HRPTA officers of grade 7- Loyalty for the
school 2023-2024.

After the successful election of officers, the class adviser presented the 2nd
agenda by showing the parents/guardians the RA 10627 or the “Anti – Bullying Act of
2013”. hen, the policies of the school including the hair cut and hair color of male
students, complete uniform when entering the school premises and DO’s and DON’T’s
in the school was presented by the teacher thoroughly stating the benefits also of the
students.

Then, the class schedule and the grading system (D.O. No. 8, s. 2015) was presented
by the teacher. He mentioned the subject area and the subject teachers handling the
different subjects from 7:30 to 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon. He also discussed the
grading system with regards to how their children are graded in the eight different
learning areas. Furthermore, he also explained how remediation schedule is utilized.

The 4rth agenda is about School/Classroom Requirements (Per Subject, Classroom


Project), the teacher explain the requirements of their students in every subject and
the parents agreed to the requirements. Mr. Cagape added that as part of the
requirements for his subjects taught namely Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao and
Mathematics, there will be collection of 2 boxes of floorwax per quarter per student
for the maintenance of the cleanliness of the classroom. The parents were also
presented and given specific projects and requirements for their students and its
importance and impact to the grades were given emphasis.

The 5th agenda is about UNIFORM. The students should wear the uniform during
Monday and Thursday, P.E. Uniform for Tuesday and Friday and Wednesday is for
washing day. As per memorandum released by the BSP/GSP Office, students having
their scout uniform is encourage to wear it during Friday. But it is not compulsory. The
parents also agreed on the suggested P.E. Uniform amounting to Php 650.00 with no
objection. It has also been approved by the parents that for the school uniform, with
the consent of the adviser, Mr. Cagape will be the one to buy for the fabric and
parents will be the one to look for the Sastry. This is to ensure the uniformity of the
fabric and primarily the color. The parents also chose the Option A, for the ID. Parents
agreed on the amount of Php 110.00 with the pvc material and the official Luna IS
Lanyard to be used. One of the parents raise the point that if the majority chose
Option A than B, they must all agree to take A for the seek of uniformity. The deadline
of the payment of the ID will be on November 03,2023 – Friday and since taking the
P.E. uniform is not compulsory, there was no deadline set.

The 6th agenda was all about the proposed classroom project for the school year
2023-2024. One of the parents in the name of Maricar Payla, the newly elected HRPTA
president suggested that the project should be the repainting of the classroom. Since
everyone is aware to the standard color of the classroom which is Ivory, they all agree
for the repainting from the present color blue to Ivory. Mr. Cagape the adviser made
an estimate for about 2 gallons of paint to be used with the budget of Php 1000.00
per gallon. It is divided into 42 since the body agreed that it will be per parent. The
contribution each parent is amounting to 47 and everybody agreed to round up the
amount to Php 50.00 to make an allowance to purchase for the paint brush and
thinner. The deadline was also set to November 03, 2023- Friday.
Furthermore, other matters were discussed during the meeting. The parents
were reminded of the PSA certificate of the students, the 4p’s members requirements
for updating and to settle accounts from previous school of their students so that
there will be no problem to arise during the request of the school form 137.

The class adviser also clarified the issue on the circulating information about
the Nipah Virus through presenting the advisory of the Department of Health –
Northern Mindanao. He mentioned the details about the virus and on how to know the
signs and symptoms and also its precautionary measures like wearing facemask and
constantly wash the hands, etch.

Overall, the meeting was successfully conducted as all matters were discussed
and agreed immediately without any objection. Everybody showed active cooperation
and it is very evident that they are all after for the good and welfare of their children
as they go through the learning process.

Today’s success is dedicated to all the parents who took their time to attend
the meeting despite their busy schedule. The class adviser is also overwhelmed with
the Grade 7- Loyalty students as they showed great passion to study and to learn with
all their best.
