Fransico Brazyl & china proposed need of health organization
In 1946 international health conference held at Newyork constitution prepared by
'Technical. preperatory committee' under chairman Rene sand.
In 1948. April 7 WHO established with 56 member countries & presently consists 194+2
members.
WHO established date is celebrating every here as world Health Day.
AIM AND OBJECTIVES
1 Acheivement of optimum level of health to all.
2 Health for all by 2000AD, Detining the health.
3Government is also held responsible for the health of the nation.
4Mentainance of healthy environment for next generation

Supreme governing body
consists one deligate from one member country. They conduct meeting in May in Jeneva every
