Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
https://sdgs.un.org/goals
SDGs (Cont. . .)
1. Goal – A goal is a big, broad idea of what we want to achieve.

Example: SDG 9 – Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industry, and foster
innovation. (This is a great idea but it's very general. So how do we make it real?)

2. Target – A target is a smaller, specific aim under a goal. It answers: "What exactly
should be achieved?"

Example: Target 9.2: Promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization and increase the
industry's share of employment and GDP.

3. Indicator – An indicator is like a measurement tool. It answers: "How do we know if

we’re reaching the target?“

Example: Indicator 9.2.1: Manufacturing value added as a percentage of GDP. This tells us
how much industry contributes to the economy.
