Small Actions, Big Impact: Water conservation for our community
By BRSSPG Parent Volunteers
Warm summer months are approaching, and with them come higher water
use—and higher bills. Fortunately, there are many easy ways to lower your
water bill while also doing something good for the planet!
California historically goes through a natural wet and dry cycle every few
years, but climate change is making these extremes worse. We’re seeing
more intense wildfires and longer droughts. Every drop saved matters more
than ever.

Behind the Numbers: What the
Redwood LIFE ‘reduced’ plan doesn’t
reveal about its true size
By Steven and Nina Goodale
Longfellow Partners wants you to think their Redwood LIFE project got
smaller. They’re calling it the "reduced" alternative. But here’s what they’re
not telling you.
The real numbers are buried in the fine print. When you add back the
parking garages they conveniently left out of their calculations, this project
balloons from 1 million square feet to 5.45 million square feet. That’s five
times bigger than what’s there now. Why did they leave out parking?
Because Floor Area Ratio rules don’t require them to count it. It’s a loophole
that hides the true scale of what they want to build in our neighborhood.
Just how big is 5.45 million square feet? It’s hard to picture, so let’s compare Don’t let them hide behind misleading numbers. Contact your
