Tools and Materials:

● Yarn
● Crochet hook fits your yarn
Abbreviations (US):
● Scissors
● CH: Chain ● Yarn Needle
● SC: Single Crochet
● Stitch Marker
● DC: Double Crochet
● HDC: Half Double Crochet ● glass cat eyes (optional)
● SL St: Slip stitch
● INC: Increase
● R: Round
● [...]: Number of stitches
at the end of round.

TECHNICAL NOTES:

● Crochet in the round and starting in the


same stitch as the Sl St to join, unless specified
otherwise. Use a stitch marker or piece of yarn to
keep track of the first stitch in each round.

● The starting chain used to reach the height, as

(start from the 2nd-to-last chain, work 6 SC, then work 3 SC in the last chain,
then work 5 SC on the other side of the chain, INC in the last chain, then SL St
to join the round)

R3 : CH1,INC,5SC,(INC)x2,3HDC INC,5SC,3HDC INC,INC [24]


(“3HDC INC” means work 3 Half Double Crochet in 1 stitch, and SL St
to join the round at the end. )

R4 : CH4, (from the 2nd-to-last chain) SC,HDC,DC,Skip 2 ST,SL St,


(this completes one ear of the cat face)

finish ,after that, use a black yarn to
sew the pupil. NOTES:
Repeat the process twice to make
two eyes, then use glue to attach them
to the cat's face. If you have glass eyes,
I would love to see your finished pouch, so
you can skip this step and simply glue
the glass eyes onto the cat's face.
