1.Eligibility for Telangana State Assistant Public Prosecutor
Minimum Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in any subject along with a Bachelor’s degree in Law
(LLB/BL) from:
o Any University established under a Central, Provincial, or State Act in
India.
o Any Institution recognized by the UGC.
o Equivalent qualifications.
Candidates who have completed a five-year integrated Law course after
Intermediate are also eligible.
Experience
Must have practiced as an Advocate for at least three (3) years with active
practice in Criminal Courts within the State as of the notification date.
Medical Standards
Must possess sound health and be free from bodily defects or infirmities
rendering them unfit for service.
Ineligibility:
o Candidates with impaired speech, hearing, or sight.
o Candidates suffering from stammering or stuttering.
Age Limit
Maximum Age: 34 years as of 1st July 2021.
o Born not earlier than 2nd July 1987.
Salary Details
Pay Scale: Rs. 54,220 – 1,33,630 (as per RPS 2020).

Selection Process
1. Written Examination:
o Two Papers (each of 3 hours’ duration):
Paper 1: 100 Marks (200 multiple-choice questions).
Paper 2: 100 Marks (Descriptive type questions).
o Language: Both papers will be in English only.
2. Final Merit:
o Final selection based on aggregate score from Papers I and II (200
marks).
o Special Representation:
First 5% of posts: Combined merit list of all candidates.
Remaining 95% of posts: Reserved for local candidates only.
