to be 3 cm longer than the shortest and the third length is to be twice as long as the shortest. What
are the possible lengths of the shortest board if the third piece is to be at least 5cm longer than the
second.

A wheel makes 200 revolutions in one minute.

ii) Find the angle θ in degree measure.
iii) Find sin (−θ).
37. Case Study 2:
A school organized a farewell party of 100 students and the school management decided three
types of drinks to be distributed in the party and are Milk (M) Coffee (C) and Tea (T). It is reported
10 students had all the three drinks M,C,T; 20 had M and C; 30 had C and T; 25 had M and T 12 had
only M; 5 had only C; 8 had only T.
Based on the information answer the questions given below.
i) How many students did not take any drinks?
ii) How many students prefer Milk?
iii) How many students prefer Milk and Coffee but not tea?

Deepak is doing a design course. He is working on Cartesian art. For this he wants to take
x-coordinate from the set A = {1, 2, 3} and y-coordinate from the set B = {-3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3}.
Based on the information answer the questions given below.
i) How many ordered pairs Deepak can make from A to B
ii) How many total relations can be defined from A to B.
iii) If relation from A to B is defined as R= {(𝑎, 𝑏) : 𝑎 < 𝑏, 𝑎 ∈ 𝐴, 𝑏 ∈ 𝐵 }, then find the
