II. Objective(s):
● To apply specific elements of design by completing a design
challenge within a given time frame.
III. Materials Needed: Crayons, Ruler, Bond paper, Pencil, Marker

IV. Task Description:


1. Design Challenge: Create a logo for a fictional company using only
geometric shapes.

2. Roles:
● Designer 1: Responsible for sketching initial ideas and selecting the color
scheme.
● Designer 2: In charge of finalizing the logo design and ensuring it meets
the geometric shape requirement.
● Presenter: Prepares a brief explanation of the logo's concept and
presents it to the class.
3. Guidelines:
● Use only geometric shapes such as squares, circles, triangles, etc.
● Incorporate at least 3 different geometric shapes in the design.
● Ensure the logo is visually appealing and conveys the essence of the
fictional company.
4. Steps:
● Brainstorm ideas together for the logo design.
● Delegate tasks according to designated roles.
● Collaborate to create the final logo design.
● Practice the presentation to explain the concept behind the logo.
5. Presentation:
● Each group will present their logo to the class.
● The Presenter will explain the design choices and the message conveyed
by the logo.

II. Objective(s):

Rhythm, Movement, and Unity.

III. Materials Needed:


 Cellphone with Camera or Digital Camera
 Computer with PowerPoint

IV. Instructions:
1. Group Formation:
● Form groups of three students.
● Assign roles within the group: Photographer, Director (chooses the
shooting location and subject), and Editor (responsible for
arranging photos in PowerPoint).
2. Photography Exploration:
● Using a cellphone or digital camera, explore your environment to
find subjects that illustrate the principles of design.
● Each group member should aim to capture at least one photo that
represents a different principle (Repetition, Rhythm, Movement,
Unity, etc.).
3. PowerPoint Presentation Preparation:
● After capturing the photos, transfer them to a computer.
● Collaborate to create a PowerPoint presentation.
● Each group member should select and arrange their photos based
on the principles of design they captured.
4. Class Presentation:
● Present your PowerPoint to the class.
● Explain the principle of design depicted in each photo.
● Discuss how the elements of design contribute to the overall
composition and impact of the image.

Time Frame: Approximately 20 minutes for exploration, photo selection,


PowerPoint creation, and presentation.
