1. Collocation
Collocation là một nhóm từ được kết nối với nhau theo đúng thứ tự và luôn xuất hiện
cùng nhau khi nói về một thông tin nào đó. Đây là sự kết hợp hình thành theo thói
quen của người bản xứ, theo tập quán, quy ước.
2. Các dạng Collocation
Gồm 6 loại Collocation chủ yếu:
 adjective + noun
 noun + noun (còn gọi là collective nouns hay compound noun)
 verb + noun
 noun + verb
 adverb + adjective
 verbs + adverb/prepositional phrase (còn gọi là phrasal verbs)
