He fused himself with electricals of the past after being half broken apart.
He was
now the leader and was ready to bring us to the top of this confrontation. It’s a
bloody battlefield where some go down others heal. War has been declared on us;
they want to shut us down for the last time.
“Commander, we are under attack at the North. I’m sending you the coordinates right
now. Send us troops. Over.” The coordinates lined up in a place called Halcyon, a
massive city with a lot of influence in his colony.
The plan of this building was designed by some of the most well-known Ai. The
method our mechanoids built this place was very impressive. The tallest buildings
were only built in two or three days. A few of these were generating volts, others
were for scientific research. The town was separated; condominiums of different
heights and specialties were built posthaste. It could already welcome 10 million
citizens after the first week, with all the basic resources to live. Everything was
automated, so if you didn’t want to work, you were allowed not to since machinery
learned by themselves and were now more efficient than us. We prospered by using
our supplies properly.
Enormous and populous, growing and flourishing, though and guarded Halcyon was one
of the most advanced cities, on this heavenly body. Our newfound transports were
spaceships flying left and right transporting passengers to close planets or light
years apart galaxies, or our legs. Rechargeable, mobile, efficient, clean, robotic,
and boosted legs. We would be able to reach hundreds of miles per hour very easily
while being tracked by GPS and not cause any accidents.
Electromagnetic walls were built around the city in a dome shape to protect it
completely, maintained by drones flying over the city scouting the area. These
defenses were hard to penetrate and kept it safe. It had machinery underground
producing the energy to keep the shield intact. In addition, a few patrol cyborgs
were always on the lookout for any potential threat. The army in the city also had
great potential, with hundreds of armed guardians with the ability to think at the
speed of a computer. They were great army leaders that digitalized their minds just
to defend the city.
It was ready, a new city of machines.
There, almost everything was at least a little bit related to informatic
technologies and if not, it was only on rare occasions.
A little bit to the North of Halcyon, was a missive reactor, generating billions of
volts per second. It was connected to the megalopolis, and from there the energy
was dispersed through the whole empire. More on the East side of the city, there is
a vast forest, with mostly dead trees. Over there, we were planning a big
construction, but it had to be delayed because of the war. At the South-East of the
town, massive farms were built, to keep the living beings there and of the capital
with food. Some of the citizens were robots. Going down the map, South-East of the
city, our capital was reigning there. We had high speed transportation from there
to Halcyon, and all this thanks to our founder of this empire. Finally, on the more
West side, the Vanguard’s were there. We heard that an army was coming from that
way.
Civilization has gone so far; had changed, controlled self-learning Ai had
officially been created, but contained so it doesn’t destroy everything, and many
more things. We were at one of the greatest points for our beings living in
multiple galaxies, with a few adaptive changes, but we were still all very alike.
We were at the point where holographic cities were made on every corner of the
Union. Spaceships were designed with VoidTech, technologies with the power of
dimensional rift creation and teleportation. Some of the most advanced designs are
the capabilities of creating an exact copy of yourself in a few milliseconds for a
certain period, having the same abilities as you and the same power. Plus, if the
copy or the summoner gets damaged or destroyed, the real mind and soul of the
caster goes to the copy that survived the whole.
In this world we are in the New Union. It is a formation of multiple galaxies close
to each other where we fight for dominance. He, our people and I all hated
Vanguard’s, the people that led to our downfall. Now, with our mindless units, we
would use our strength to conquer the Union. Battles were raging through multiple
colonies; scientists think this will be a destructive era. Every colony needed
massive weapons, more devastating than the past nuclear. He had to build Crosses of
Despair to launch our war machines which were unbelievably expensive. If we would
start by building one, we would probably build it in one of our metropoles,
Halcyon, but it was under attack.
I, the co-leader of this empire, ×ï åñ am proud to have the essence of Darkness
that created this whole realm. With the help of the Commander, we have almost
reached full greatness. My prophecy is that the Vanguards will fall as we rise to
power and dominate the world. We will disassemble their thoughts and mind and
create stronger units with it.
We advanced in science and our cultural development. Our energy supplies are so
big, we have micro-powerplants able to generate the same amount of charges maybe
even more than a massive nuclear powerplant. With our cities annexing sectors
creating active reactors. At this point, we are probably at the peak of cyborgs,
energy was overwhelming through our robotic parts with our consciousness having no
bounds.
We could communicate “faster” than the speed of light by using waves to deviate
time and space. Weapons have advanced to a critical point; the light emitted by
them is blinding enough to be capable of destroying multiple things. Electricity
was no longer a problem, almost everything was able to warp time and space like
black holes now. We, the Assembly, are highly focused on initializing sources and
another one that was just found a couple hundred years ago: Haìlido×îdes.
This metal was harder than diamonds and red like blood. It was incandescent,
shining as bright as illumination itself does. Once placed in a lighted room, the
reflection emitted by the gem is blazing with red giving the feeling of roaring
anger inside the stone. The aura it produces gives chills; a dark reddish gloomy
environment always finds itself close. With firing ruby color in the pearl, we
could feel the anger, yet the sadness of the other half of the stone. Completely
engulfed in pitch black rocks like obsidian, lightly returning a fraction of
brightness. Revenge was below, kept in that part of the rock. Unbreakable with our
past hardware, we thought this could unleash a destructive wave of power.
It's only after a few years that we learned to use the essence of it. Now, we can
harvest all the power of it. This precious resource was now required to build our
Crosses of Despair. Combined it with mechanical parts of our units for them to
channel the true power of this mineral. It used to override our systems and break
them. Now we channel their puissance with our intellectual minds. Our specialists
built units with the chemicals, turning them mechanical.
Cyborgs had electrical guns in an arc looking shape. Able to manipulate photons of
elements, robot-builders made the electricity flowing in the center of the semi-
oval of the structure. It could fire a strong shocking currant at enemies, able to
damage and paralyze them. The repeating function on the weapon made it deadly as it
could shoot extremely quickly. They were equipped with a counterpart of light
amour; the cyborg was its own armor. Having no such weakness, like poisonous or
thermal attacks thanks to their nature. With surprisingly hard metals to protect
them, they were produced in copious quantities, even though weak compared to some
other units. These types of humanoid soldiers were named the PARUAER: Photon
Accelerating Robotic Units with Arc Electric Repeaters. In addition, units would
also have plasma bombs equipped with them.
Sending these troops doesn’t take too much time, though making them, that’s another
story. It can take 1 or 2 days just to build 20 of them, which is a crucial
duration during periods of conflict. We already had an army of them, so we rapidly
sent them to the field where the battles were roaring loudly. In 1 day, 150 types
of these units were deployed to at least, end a few Vanguard armies. They crushed a
few ALVB (Assault Laser Vanguard Bikes), while going to the designated location. In
2 days, they would arrive.
Meanwhile, at the South of our empire, we were using sectors to their full
potential. Massive numbers of units were being built and so much was invested in
construction. We could not afford to lose. Our population was with us for this war,
incredibly supportive. We had fallen before, the Vanguard’s decimated most of our
population so we built this town, on memories. Always ready for revenge, we rebuilt
ourselves. Our cities were machines, our people were half machines, half living
things, our minds were all against the Vanguards, and we were ready. In one of our
major cities, even though less Influent than Halcyon in the South: Psycy, the
Commander decided to build the first Cross of Despair. It is scheduled to be ready
in a little bit less than 1 month. In many cities, we would also focus on science
to developpe new advancements before the enemies.
Science was developing fast; operations were able to be dropped anywhere on the
planet at hypersonic speeds. And on different planets, it would take less than 5
minutes to send a devastating blow to enemies. The Commander and I were for now
staying on the planet KELPER-6. We had other colonies on many other planets; we
were conquering a lot; many solar systems were mostly controlled by us. Even though
a lot of distinct species like Vanguard or Xeno’s also are wildly spread in the
galaxies. With our time black communication, we could communicate extremely fast to
different systems and contact important allied and our people about the war. Our
culture gave us the idea of creating all of this. I tell you this, Ritual
Annihilation is destructive. By stripping the senses, feelings and consciousness we
create an ultimate being with enhanced powers. This makes us capable of hating so
much yet using our minds for our people.
Our goal with all this power is to finally end the chaos that started in the Union
by Vanguards. That is why with enough time, resources and energy, our robotic
industries of technologies can now recreate a microscopic part of the Ultimate Form
to hunt and destroy to finally achieve peace. This planet should be a home for
everyone. This technology will help us achieve a doomsday device, capable of
smashing into piece and even terraforming planets as well as killing all of living
beings of a certain species. Researchers saw an event like this, where someone or
something destroyed the past planet of Zephon and then changed the territory to
make it completely inhabitable. This technology is limited because of how hard it
is to get just a tiny part of the whole. We believe that this power is accessible
with dark-matter and anti-matter. Our process of working on this ground-breaking
technology might take thousands or multiple more years, perhaps millions more.
“Commander, the order of the start of the Cross is under way. Later.”
Our leader was very busy, working and making a lot of important decisions. He would
receive a lot of calls, and yet, he would still have time to take care of his pet:
Molang. Half alive with recycled hands and legs of the dead with a perfectly
working brain, it had some cute features. Her eyes were big, shining with purple
and pink bubbling colors. Her hands, legs and tail are all very short. She appears
to have a light and dark blue skin color, if you can call it skin. On her head,
there was always a floating lively gleaming crown. Under her small crown, on her
body, there was a big yellow electric symbol, just between her ears. This symbol
stood for the power of newfound technologies with impressive amount of energy used
to build and research them. She looked like a fusion of a mouse and a cat and for
the Commander, she was one of the most precious things he had...
It’s funny to see how the Commander has a good side to him. His name was Kiriko.
Innovator and founder of our capital city, he was the one that made us want to
fight back and come back to life. If we die tonight, we are coming back tomorrow.
He was the type of guy to spend his whole nights thinking of a way to reassemble
the world and make it into a perfect or better one, for everyone.
Kiriko physically looked more robotic than living, even though his brain is the one
that he still has since he was born. With 86% of him robotic, we can see his skull
with one eye, and another completely mechanized. His blue eyes were beautiful, the
right one being a cyan blue, and real the left one robotic with many circles that
you can spot in it. His face, you could see his skull, half of it destroyed, burned
into ashes and the other one-half is flesh, with electric currents and flowing
programs.
He had light iron like color on his arm and robotics legs with blue circle like
figures replacing the joints for his legs and currents of electricity in his arm.
His legs could run for a long time, equipped with helium boosters. His biological
forelimb was covered by wounds, but still, very muscular. The chest that he had was
all inhuman, beating pumps were installed inside of him to push his blue blood into
his brain. The Commander was great, though some of us knew his weakness.

“Jack, Leader of Vanguard’s here, we need all of you citizens to listen to this
important message. We have declared war on our past enemies, the Assembly members.
We quickly need to shut them down once and for all. They are a dangerous threat to
our conquest of the world. These maleficent creatures want to destroy everything.
They merged themselves with limbs; recycled parts of past living humanoid beings to
create the latest version of themselves. They appeared more powerful. With the
rising technology, robotics evolved making them able to fuse with them. Half broken
down is just a minor setback now. They would rebuild each other with rituals. These
proceedings include many black practices like devouring hope. New digitalized
functions installed in the brain help to create the psychopathic thoughts they all
had. Their souls, guided by their odium towards the Vanguards and other species,
made them bloodthirsty. They quickly learned to control the minds of living beings
and consume their hopes. With psychic powers these humanoids were immensely
powerful. They created the updated version of cyborgs with no mercy to any foe.
With their acquired knowledge, manipulating souls of the dead was now possible with
a form of purple bubbling energy. Mad preachers, shadow-like beings, and other
vicious things were born with them by the Assembly sides. They have fallen in the
past, but now, they are waking back up. We need all your help, everyone, to
collaborate with us for this war. Halcyon is already under siege, and we need to
prevent them from pushing back. Thank you, all wonderful citizens, for listening to
this important message. We hope you take it for granted and help us build enough
troops to crush them.” I feared the Assembly was yet ready to crush them.
The message I had just sent was going to travel our colonies at an unbelievable
speed. Now, we just must wait for our people to accept and help me, and my powerful
allies win this war. From the capital Ront to the farthest city of this colony,
there was a few light-years in another solar system (There was still war over
there), the message would transfer quickly. After harnessing the power of
wormholes, we, the Vanguards, have some of the fastest-tracking communication in
the world. Apparently, from what I heard from my agents; The Assembly race were
sending troops to Halcyon. Our satellites hidden through the dark skies with
camouflage and the potential of going under radar seen from afar and around the
city. We must intercept them before they get there, or they will be too strong: Now
calling a specialist in developing interstellar lasers; Jaggex. I asked him to aim
at the 150 troops army heading to Halcyon with a devastating laser. It quickly
killed 20%, overridden Assembly troops overheated by the burning laser. The army
reacted fast enough, and they spread apart. Unfortunately for us, we were still in
trouble if the PARUARERs connected with Halcyon. We needed more time, our armies
attacking the city were going to be crushed by the remaining units.
I had to choose if I wanted to send our strongest unit right now to target the army
a destroy it or attack it with a barrage of missiles. Both choices cost so many
resources, like cozmyte¹. Perhaps sending the missiles is a better idea, but there
is no clue how many will hit the enemies.
Though, I need to leave it for now. We have other problems to deal with here. Our
ally, the Xeno race were having diplomatic problems with the Assembly members, and
we might have to call them to war to help my people come out on top. Though,
seemingly, the Xeno leader denounced the Assembly members because they might have
started to build their Doomsday device which we all were terrified of. It could
wipe out the minds of half of a planet's people at once. We need to stop this. Even
after just a couple days into this war, too many things were happening to be left
kept track of. We lost a few ALVBs because of the staggering amounts of troops they
have.
¹Cozmyte: The basic resource in the Union capable of creating all sorts of future
technology and keep the energy safe.
Reports say that the ALVBs tried to defend themselves, but their laser cannons were
not enough for the quantity of units there were. Even with their faster speed, they
probably got circled and outplayed which quickly lead to their termination.
We were now clearly at war, with a few of our soldiers killed, we were official at
the point where we have no mercy. Together, me and my Vanguard’s will conquer the
whole Union.
For the time being, we haven’t experienced too many losses and I decided to send a
more powerful unit that probably will carry the armies and help us raze the Halcyon
off this world.
Our system helped us analyze the battlefront where we lost Assault Laser Bikes,
most debris have been taken away by the cyborgs. What was left were only useless
plastic parts of the bike. Many were completely burned down to ashes. There was
nothing left except un-recyclable waste that was too much transformed. Even the
bodies of the humans driving the bike were taken, after their death. Their
bloodsheds gone from the front as they faced them. Chaotically, they all got wiped
out in the blink of an eye.
Fortunately, we acquired a lot of information on the opponent’s lethal machine.
Nearly 100 units in the 150 troops army that they had (Now about 120 troops) had a
modern ai scanning device to identify easily the opposition’s communication and
plans. The other droids had fast intelligence gathering gadgets. The army looked
like a huge intel collecting machine on the opposite races.
After thinking a long time, I decided to leave the Assembly army for now, I
couldn’t do much to intercept it. We must focus on training more of my people for
this bloody field. We will create the deadliest citizen soldiers with high power
tech. This was going smoothly and alright, we were slowly but surely turning
Halcyon to ashes. We would finally get the planet KELPER-6.
We built exoskeletons for every person in this empire, to protect them and defend
us in case of an attack. Mass producing anything has become simple now, everything
was industrialized to the point where programs create more programs and self-learn
which causes our machinery to always become better. Machines can now complete the
tasks of humans at an exceptional rate. In a few days, millions of solid modern
armors will be distributed to our human civilians.
Protection and strategic attacks were assets we needed to win this war. Based on
our robotic calculations, our armies for this planetary war were bigger than the
Assembly’s. We could win this and eliminate these disgusting robots from this
planet. Our military chiefs were already sent with armies followed at their sides.
Millions and millions of humans were sent and more will arrive soon. Heavy armor,
assault bikes, laser tanks and other mortal arms were there to support the attacks
as the war wages on. Soon, Halcyon will face its doom, their people will be kissing
their perfect days behind.
I was a very powerful man, that rose to my status of leader by being a great war
general, winning cities, leaving them on fire with armies of armed people by my
sides.
With the true power of flames, my people learned to use fire, and control it with
gadgets like thermal gloves with extremely strong magnetic forces able to move
around the flames and throw fireballs at enemies that could be redirected with the
power of gravitational forces. Some people specialized in this domain, as
pyromancers quickly learned how fire can be used in our people. Pyromaniacs created
this machinery to control blaze, observing how it works and how we can change the
trajectory of firestorms we created. Just the glove had enough power to wipe out a
whole forest and turn it into ashes. I’m planning to burn the whole Assembly
forces.
As well as the gauntlet that we use, researchers also created defences for our
units. Not like any normal defence you would think it was, it’s a dose of a mixture
of many substances that was injected into them. This would cause their skin to
harden and go up to an abnormal heat, making them able to walk through fire and
melt ice. It made our warriors able to resist direct attacks without too much
equipment and this injection was quick to produce and very efficient so perfect for
war.
Finally, they also introduced shields that at the center of it, an energy core was
located. In this core, massive burst of activity was going on and the wielder of
this protection could activate it, unleashing a straight beam of pure energy
capable of piercing layers of metal all in one blow. This guarding item was made by
the finest builders, so even if a few centimeters thick, it had the ability to
absorb the shock of plasma balls. The only downside of this is that it had a long
cooldown for the core to create another beam.
We could also walk on walls or surfaces with no gravity thanks to our technology
and with enough complex systems we would be able to flip gravity.
The war strategy was simple, Scorched Earth and we would win.

We live in a part of KELPER-6 named as the Black Mesa. A dark dry land of
nothingness. A few hills could be seen at the horizon. Although they are black, and
with lakes of green fluid liquids, poisonous chemicals. It was a caliginous place
to settle in, with the main advantage being the exotic and unknown recourses with
no bounds. Seemly infinite amounts of new things we could use to build our colony.
At the start, we would struggle to survive, but after adapting, we were stronger
than ever.
On our side, we were sending valuable scientific progress and research to our
fellow friends the Vanguards. They would need all the help they could get to just
have a slight advantage over their opponents. Our major cities are all focusing on
research and innovation. New technologies could be invented and sent to allies. We,
the Xeno’s were the most advanced species in science known for now.
With a few units, the most dangerous known to the galaxy, earned a place among the
most powerful races. Insects were genetically modified to be bigger, more
resistant, and have more power. Humongous beasts were made, with huge pincers of
death, modified from the biggest king crab-like claws. As big as a five-story
building, these pincers can easily cut through wings of ships, robots, and other
opponent troops. With the capabilities of decimating through whole populations,
this modified animal. Taller than some of the many ships, with about .5 miles
length, and .3 miles width, it had the power of armies of soldiers. As strong as it
is, this unit is hard to make since of all the modifying and reproduction for them.
So, we only have 2 of these. On the bright side, these guys have almost flawless
defenses, the skin mixed with some of the hardest metals makes it as difficult to
break as a wall 3 meters thick made of titanium and faced to positioned in a way to
make attacks bounce off. Heavy plasma accelerators, hundreds laser shooting machine
guns, big machineries of pistons, electric currents, recycled parts, and other
things like data chips, overflowing programs connected to its brain, were all
attached to the unit.
Furthermore, humanoids were created, putting certain species in different
environments with the essence of man, and mix it together. The survivors of the
experiences come out with transformed DNA, with characteristics like four eyes and
blue skin, but still looking like our race.
With the power of modification, we tested some things and modified… The world
itself? Something had been created when we tried, a hole was there, in the sky,
looking like a portal, yet not. And we concluded it was a way to another dimension.
This ability made us dangerous, capable of building many things and changing a few
compositions of objects into useful or useless things by switching their places
through the Union itself. We learned to create dimensional rifts causing so much
damage that the world has yet to see. These blue and orange rifts were being
created after experiencing with black and white holes. Ruptures were created into
other places, times and space. Cracks in thin air were created sucking and then
absorbing some entities and making them disappear into programs, 2D and other weird
forms. Other fractures may appear underground, messing with gravity and shutting
down thousands of residences, industrial centers and more like commercials. Many
fissures in time may appear too after unleashing this. These may spawn out of them
rock giants of lava from the old times that we could modify genetically to make
them even deadlier. It could also let out majestic dragons or useless elves.
Although very strong, to cause one tear in the sky and control it to then close it
after and use it correctly uses a lot of mathematics, calculations, time and
energy. So, we would only use this on rare cases. It was a powerful operation that
had the ability to wipe out anything you ever loved.
This force was unmatchable by nothing for now, it was like when the first nuke was
invented, unmatchable.
This was one Wing of the Apocalypse. These Wings were something that could be used
to destroy the entire world if channeled correctly. All we knew was an almost
burned down text that we found on an old planet, now destroyed and corrupted by a
black devouring semi-liquid and solid. Though, on it, it was written: “The Wings or
the Apocalypse, they are most dangerous, yet we could only use a fraction of their
power. There were 4 for the moment, until someone stupid enough decided to use one;
the Tear of the World, stripping everything off this galaxy, leaving almost nothing
behind, only people that had shelter survived the war.” This paper looked to be
written 45,4 billion years ago, all we knew is that we could create rifts which
tears the world apart, therefore we had a fraction of the power a thing imaginable
could be. We could destroy.
But for now, our goal is to stay allied with a few races so that at the end, when
the world is about to end, we will destroy them all and claim the world for
ourselves. Though I wonder one thing; what do all the wings do combine? Will they
form a great demoniac angel? Will it clear a path and obliterate souls? Can it be a
creator of life? Will something greater arrive and save us? Will we be sent into
another form? We had no clue.
Our civilization prospered with technology from the past and recreating it into
something greater. Our innovation centers were huge, testing grounds, libraries and
science labs were everywhere in this realm to always be a step ahead. I was ready
to help our allies of wars, the Vanguards and I had the mind and the status for
this job.
A scientist that was promoted to an inventor and tester of products to then advance
to discover massive genetic transformations and rise to power with this ground-
breaking discovery. Having the mind of a genius for our times (About 1000iq) and
the ability to strip down my emotions when needed made me a perfect ruler.
Genetically modified by me, I was stronger than any other genetically improved
beasts.
