 Each person who could fall more than 1.8 m (6


feet) shall be protected from falling by a fall
protection system.
 Fall protection systems include fixed fall
protection systems (i.e., temporary or permanent
platforms with a complete guardrail system
consist of top-rail, mid-rail & toe-board
provided at open edges) and personal fall arrest
systems.
 Where a fixed fall protection system cannot be
installed, a personal fall arrest system, which is
designed to stop (arrest) personnel once a fall has
occurred, shall be used.
 Attach lanyards to an anchor point or
horizontal/vertical lifeline that is high enough to
prevent from striking a lower level during a fall.
 Working at height shall meet the requirements as
per CSM II-5 “Fall Protection.
