Subject: Request letter to reduce shop rent

Dear Ms. Tesalona:

I want you to consider it a request from me to reduce the rent of the unit located
at the basement of your mall. The unit will be used as a photography studio
where service is availed by few except during graduation season. I love doing
my business at your mall but somehow, I have been disturbed in terms of
finances and rent reduction is perhaps the only way left to pull me out and help
me run a long way. I am a responsible tenant who always paid my rent on time,
maintained good shop conditions and never messed with my surroundings.

In the recent past, I have been renting spaces in the downtown area, with same
location with your mall and I concluded that a small reduction in rent should be
considered because the rent is lesser for the same facilities.

Owing to the situation, I would like to request for reduction in shop rent from
P20,000 to P16,000.00 which is within the earning capacity of a studio in terms
of income generation. It is a fair reduction and it will help me a lot retain my
business at your mall which is very important for me.

I hope you will consider my request and give me a chance to say thanks for your
kindness.
