MINIMUM ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be a holder of an Advanced Secondary Education Certificate or a Diploma
preferably in Law, plus training/certification on military/militia or its equivalent
qualifications from recognized institution. The candidate Must also have Aviation
Security Screener Training.
• Training in Cargo and Mail Security, Airport Security or Security Quality Control
will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure proper access control of staff, authorized persons and vehicles to
aircrafts
2. Conduct aircraft security searches and checks as appropriate
3. Assist in deployment and supervision of security personnel from outsourced
security service providers to ensure security of aircraft's, passengers, baggage,
cargo and mail is maximized.
4. Work closely with respective officers in charge to ensure Revenue Integrity is
maintained.
5. Report and record all incidents in the OB for management follow up
6. Brief and debrief outsourced security on security matters to ensure they
understand and implement the instructions.
7. Assist in handling and carriage of firearms in compliance with company security
program to ensure safety of equipment, personnel and passengers is maximized.
8. Prepare daily shift security operations report to ensure proper follow up and
action on any issues arising in the course of duty.
9. Managing safe custody and accountability of Lost and Found property until they
are reclaimed by the rightful owners or otherwise disposed according to
company policy.
10. Serve as duty shift in-charge when called to do so
11. Perform any other official duty as may be assigned by your Supervisor

components, repair, assembling and testing of aircraft systems,

approved procedure.
3. Assist in supervision of Aircraft Technicians in a particular field.
4. Assist in Carrying out aircraft inspection and its components and document
any defect observed to ensure the airworthiness of aircraft and its
components is maintained.
5. Assist in Ensuring strict compliance to Tanzania Civil Aviation Regulations
(TCARs), applicable manufacturers’ instructions and other applicable
regulatory bodies when carrying out the maintenance work.
6. Report to the appropriate Authority and recording any abnormal conditions of
wear, damage, etc. on aircraft, part or components.
7. Assist in documenting all deferred defects or maintenance quoting relevant
reasons and Authority references which permits deferment
8. Performs any other official duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
