Script for MC

MC1: "Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, (Peace and

blessings of Allah be upon you all).
On behalf of the couple and their families, I’d like to extend a heartfelt
welcome to each and every one of you. We gather today in the presence of
Allah to celebrate a truly special moment—the union of [Groom’s Name]
and [Bride’s Name], as they begin their journey together in marriage."
(pause for a moment)
MC2: "Today is a day of joy, of love, and of faith. It is a day where we
witness not only the joining of two hearts, but also the coming together of
families, friends, and a community bound by mutual respect and affection.
Let us take a moment to appreciate the blessings of Allah, and the
immense gift that marriage is. As the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon
him) said, 'Marriage is my Sunnah, and whoever does not follow my
Sunnah has nothing to do with me.'
MC1: "Before we proceed, I would like to acknowledge the presence of the
families, friends, and loved ones who have come from near and far to be
part of this blessed occasion. To the parents of the bride and groom,
[Bride's parents name] and [Groom's parents name], and the rest of the
family members—your love and support have shaped these two wonderful
individuals. Today is a reflection of your guidance and sacrifices.
MC2: And to (Insert acknowledgment of all guest one by one)
your presence here today is a testament to the deep bonds of love and
loyalty that have surrounded this couple. May Allah bless you all."
MC1: "At this moment, we will begin by hearing some beautiful words from
the Qur'an. The verses being recited today remind us of the mercy and love
Allah has placed between spouses. Please listen attentively as [Reader’s
Name] recites a portion of the Qur'an."
MC2: "MashaAllah, may Allah bless the reciter, and may the words of the
Qur'an guide and strengthen this marriage."
MC1: "And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—let us all rise and
welcome [Bride's Name], as she enters this sacred space to join her
partner in marriage. May her path always be filled with love, light, and
blessings."
MC2: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, 'Marriage is my
Sunnah, and whoever follows my Sunnah is in my path.' Marriage is a bond
of trust, love, and mercy, a relationship in which both partners find
tranquility and peace in one another. This sacred contract is not only about
love but also about partnership, respect, and the mutual worship of Allah."
(Qutbatun Nikkah proper)
MC1: "Before we proceed, we have a special performance to celebrate the
joy of this occasion. Let us all enjoy this beautiful dance, which is a
reflection of the happiness and energy surrounding today’s union."
MC2: "We now invite all of you to take this time to capture the beautiful
moments of today. We will have a designated time for photos, so please
feel free to gather around the bride and groom to create lasting memories.
These photos will be cherished for years to come."
MC1: "I would like to once again thank all of you for being here today. Your
presence is a true testament to the love and support that surrounds this
couple. May Allah bless you all for your continued kindness."
"To [Groom's Name] and [Bride's Name], congratulations once again! May
this marriage be a source of joy, peace, and growth for you both. May Allah
always keep you in His mercy and grant you both a beautiful, blessed life
together."
MC2: “And with that wa billahi Tawfiq wal hidaya we are your masters of
ceremony I am (name of mc 2 and 1) assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi
wabarakatuhu”
