MEMORANDUM OF OBJECTS AND REASONS
Being an Act to amend the Council of Legal Education Act, 1989, (Act No. No. 2021
1 of 1989) to provide for the continuation and maintenance of the Sierra Leone Law
School as the only law school in Sierra Leone with powers to establish other law
school campuses, to introduce new provisions relative to the composition and Sierra Leone
functions of the Council of Legal Education and to provide for other related matters.

PART I – PRELIMINARY 2. Section 6 of the Council of Legal Education Act, 1989 is Amendment
