“Oh Toto do you suppose there’s such a place, where there isn’t any trouble… There must be. Its not
a place you can get to by boat or by train. It’s far, far away behind the moon beyond the rain. ”
Singing starts “Somewhere over the rainbow way up high, there’s a land that I’ve only heard of once
in a lullaby. Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream
really do come true. “
“You know what, I’ll go and search for that place! It doesn’t look like Aunt Em would notice if I were
gone anyways.”
Dorothy grabs the prop bag and leaves with Toto. The music fades into more calming music.
“Hm… It’s getting dark Toto, and we still haven’t found the land over the rainbow. Maybe this

“Oh my stars, what a sight, From a twister in the night, You’ve come tumbling from the sky, In a
house that learned to fly! A girl from somewhere far away, Has changed the course of Oz today— For
where you landed, don’t you see? You’ve set our little Munchkins free!”
“I didn’t mean to cause a scare, I only want to go from here to there. My home is far beyond this
land, With Aunt Em’s hug and Uncle’s hand.”
“I know, my dear, you miss your own, But magic helps when you’re alone. These ruby shoes—don’t
take them light— They hold a power, bold and bright. And if it's home that you pursue, There’s only
one who’ll know what to do—“
“The Wizard? Can he help me fly?” “If anyone can, he’s the one.” Stop singing in normal voice now
Now click your heels—the fun’s begun! But tread with care, stay kind and true, For the Wicked West
still watches you...”
“Thank you Ms! Oh- I didn’t get our name..” “I’m Glinda the witch of the North now toodaloo! The

“One step, two step, the road unwinds, With dreams behind and hope that shines. The sky is blue,
the breeze is kind, But still it’s home that’s on my mind. I don’t know what’s ahead of me, Just bricks
and trees and mystery… But every mile, I softly hum— Each step I take is toward home.”
Then it halts as she comes across a cross road “Oh dear now which way should I go...”
“You should go left!”
“Now who said that??” Dorothy jumps back when she sees the figure covered in crows
“Yes I get that a lot, I’m the scarecrow here at your right duty!” Dorothy calms down then giggles
“Oh dear ms scarecrow you gave me on awful fright… and isn’t it right at your duty?”
“Geez that’s just the thing! ”
The scarecrow removes the blanket of crows and reveals himself pointing to the right and so sub
starts playing.
“If I only had a brain, oh, the things that I could do, I’d read the stars, recite the news, maybe learn a
thing or two. But instead I stand here stuck, full of straw and out of luck— It’s a lonely life when you
can’t think it through…”
“Well maybe you just need a start?-”
“Can’t think it through..”
“And maybe it comes from heart.”
“Can’t think it through!”
There’s a man who might just know— They say he’s wise and full of glow!”
“A wizard, you say? Sounds mighty fine! Think he could put a brain in mine? ”
“Come with me and don’t delay, starting today!”
“Alright then, let’s go right!” Scarecrow goes opposite direction forcing Dorothy to pull her to the
correct way.
ACT4
Goodluck today continues playing until 51 seconds
“With every step, the world feels wide, But it’s not so scary with you by my side.”
“I may be made of straw and thread, But I feel more clever with each word you’ve said!”
“The road is long, the wind may blow, But who knows what we’re bound to know?”
“A brain might be just up ahead— Or at least a better head instead!”
The music stops as they faintly hear the words oil.
TIN MAN (faintly) Oil can... oil can...
DOROTHY (gasping) Look! He’s stuck and stiff with rust— Let’s help him out, we must! (They oil his
joints—he stretches slowly and begins to sing waddle waddle)
TIN MAN I’ve stood so still through wind and rain, I’ve felt no joy, I’ve felt no pain. No beat inside, no
racing start— For what I lack... is just a heart. If I could feel the morning dew, Or ache the way the
willows do... I’d give my all to play a part— In something true, with just... a heart.
SCARECROW You think, I dream—what a pair we’d be! If you join us, there’s hope, you’ll see!
DOROTHY We’re off to see the Wizard bold, With courage, brains, and hearts of gold. He might just
grant what you’ve been missing— A life of love, of laughs, of kissing!
TIN MAN (brightening) A chance to feel? Then count me in— Let this metal life begin!
Act5

“Yo, I’m the king of the jungle—at least, that’s the tale, But I’m more into cuddles than a growl or a
wail. I flinch at a breeze, I panic, I freeze, But I dream of a roar that brings foes to their knees! Need a
little heart, need a brain or two? Nah—I need guts just to tie my shoe! But I heard there's a wizard,
real wise and strong, So I’m taggin' along, been scared too long!”

Tin Man: My heart may creak, but it still beats true, Every step, I walk with you.
Lion: I shake and shiver, tail tucked tight, But with my friends, I’ll find my might!
Narrator: There the four friends stood in shock for what stood infront of them was an emerald flock.
This was what they dreamed and hoped for, where the wizard resided just behind a big emerald

adores those who are consistent and
