Sir Genie: Good afternoon, esteemed guests, faculty members,
parents, and graduates. It is with great honor that we welcome
you to
Sir Genie and Ma’am Jojo: Calingatngan National High School’s
7th Commencement Exercises!
Sir Genie: I am Genie P. Cardeño.
Ma’am Jojo: And I am Josephine D. Lobenia.
Sir Genie: The resilient educational foundation of the Department
of Education has prepared our graduates for a future filled with
endless possibilities.
Ma’am Jojo: It has nurtured their critical thinking abilities, honed
their problem-solving skills, and stimulated their creativity.
Sir Genie: It has empowered them to become lifelong learners,
ready to embark on diverse career paths and contribute
meaningfully to society.
Ma’am Jojo: Today, we gather to commemorate the hard work,
perseverance, and accomplishments of our graduates as they
venture on a new chapter of their journey. Ladies and gentlemen,
welcome to the 7th Commencement Exercise of Calingatngan
National High School!
Sir Genie: To formally commence this momentous occasion, let us
warmly welcome our graduates, their proud parents, esteemed
guests, faculty members, and school officials as they enter the
venue. Please extend to them your heartfelt applause.
Ma’am Jojo: On this 14th day of April in the year of our Lord two
thousand twenty-five, in the presence of Calingatngan National
High School’s candidates for graduation, their parents and
relatives, as well as the division and school administrators,
stakeholders, faculty, personnel, alumni, honored guests and
friends with the theme

Sir Genie: The 7th Commencement Exercises of Calingatngan
National High School is hereby officially declared in session.
Ma’am Jojo: Requesting everyone to please rise for the singing of
the Philippine National Anthem, the Invocation and Borongan City
Division Hymn.

Sir Genie: To formally open our program, let us now listen to the
Welcome Address, to be delivered by Jhon Alwin C. Legarde.
[Presentation of Candidates for Graduation]
Ma’am Jojo: Thank you for that warm welcome, Mr. Legarde. We
now proceed to the official presentation of the candidates for
graduation and to formally present the graduates, we invite our
esteemed Principal II, Sir Renato D. Catuday.
[Confirmation & Acceptance of Graduates]
Sir Genie: The confirmation and acceptance of graduates is a
distinguished milestone in their academic journey. To officiate this
significant event, we invite our OIC-Schools Division
Superintendent, Sir Edgar Y. Tenasas, CESO VI (to be led by the

Ma’am Jojo: It is now time for our graduates to receive their well-
earned diplomas. Leading the Distribution of Diplomas is Sir Edgar
Y. Tenasas, CESO VI, assisted by Division Office Personnel, Principal
Renato D. Catuday, and Punong Barangay Edwin V. Anasarias.

Sir Genie: At this juncture, let us hear an inspiring message from
the DepEd Secretary, Honorable Sonny M. Angara, to be read by
our very own English Department Head, Ma’am Ma. Victoria E.
Ramas.
Ma’am Jojo: This time, let us lend an ear by another message
from the DepEd RO8 Regional Director, Ma’am Evelyn R.
Fetalvero, CESO VI, presented through an audio-visual
presentation.
[Introduction of Guest Speaker]
Sir Genie: A momentous occasion such as this calls for words of
wisdom from a distinguished individual. To introduce our keynote
speaker, we call on Ma’am Sharon Rica C. Sumagang, Master
Teacher II.
[Inspirational Message]
Ma’am Jojo: Let us now lend our ears to the insightful words of
our esteemed guest speaker, the Dean of the College of
Education, Eastern Samar State University, Main Campus, let us
give a warm welcome to Dr. Arnel A. Balbin.
[Awarding of Certificate of Appreciation to the Guest Speaker]
Sir Genie: Thank you so much for that indeed inspiring words, Dr.
Balbin. Now, as a token of our gratitude, we shall now present a
Certificate of Appreciation to our guest speaker.
Ma’am Jojo: The certificate will be awarded by Sir Edgar Y.
Tenasas, CESO VI, assisted by Principal Renato D. Catuday and
Punong Barangay Edwin V. Anasarias.

Sir Genie: At this point, let us take a short intermission featuring
a performance by SMC Teacher Interns. A round of applause

Ma’am Jojo: Thank you for that enticing performance SMC
teacher interns! This time, we shall now recognize the outstanding
achievements of our honor graduates.
Sir Genie: Leading the Awarding of Certificates and Medals is Sir

Ma’am Jojo: Thank you for that heartfelt message of gratitude
Ms. Cada. As a demonstration of their continued commitment to
their alma mater, the graduates will now recite the Pledge of
Loyalty, to be led by Rigor M. Aquino, With Honors.

Ma’am Jojo: Let us now listen to the State of the School Address,
to be delivered by the Principal, Sir Renato D. Catuday.
[Friendship, Thank You & Graduation Songs]
Sir Genie: Thank you, Sir Catuday. A momentous occasion such as
this deserves a celebration in music. Let us enjoy a special
performance by The Graduates.
Ma’am Jojo: With that, we formally conclude the 2025 Graduation
Ceremony.
Sir Genie: Congratulations to our graduates! This has been Sir
Genie P. Cardeño.
Ma’am Jojo: And this has been Ma’am Josephine D. Lobenia. May
you continue to pursue excellence and inspire others with your
journey.
