Script 1: Introducing New Events After Exam Period
Good morning/afternoon, everyone. I’m Chris Wong, your Student Union President,
and I’m excited to speak with you today about some fantastic events we have lined
up for after the exam period. I know exams can be a challenging time for all of us,
and once they’re over, it’s important to take a moment to relax, recharge, and
reconnect with our school community.
That’s why the Student Union has been busy planning a variety of activities that will
help us celebrate the end of exams and transition smoothly into the next part of the
school year. We’re organizing wellness workshops that focus on mindfulness and
stress relief, designed to help everyone unwind and regain balance. Alongside these,
there will be creative arts events where students can express themselves through
music, drama, and visual arts — whether you want to participate or just enjoy the
performances, it’s a great way to have fun and appreciate the talents within our
school.
In addition, we’re bringing back some friendly sports tournaments, giving everyone
the chance to get active, compete, and bond with friends in a lively and supportive
environment. And for those of you thinking about your future, we’ll also be hosting a
career and skills fair, where you can explore different paths and connect with
professionals who can offer guidance and inspiration.
I encourage all of you to take part in these events. They’re designed not only to
celebrate your hard work but also to strengthen our school spirit and community. I
look forward to seeing many of you there and sharing these memorable moments
together.
Thank you for your attention, and best of luck with your exams!
Script 2: Welcoming Attendees to Open Day
Good morning/afternoon, everyone. My name is Chris Wong, and I have the honor of
serving as the Student Union President here at our school. It’s a real pleasure to
welcome all of you to our Open Day. Whether you’re a prospective student, a parent,
or a member of the community, we’re thrilled that you’ve taken the time to join us
today.
Open Day is a special opportunity for us to open our doors and share what makes
our school such a vibrant and welcoming place. Throughout the day, you’ll have the
chance to explore our campus, meet our passionate teachers and staff, and discover
the wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities that we offer. It’s
a day designed to give you a genuine feel for the life and spirit of our school
community.
I encourage you to ask questions, engage with our students and faculty, and
participate in the various demonstrations and workshops we’ve prepared. Whether
you’re here to learn more about academics, sports, arts, or student life, there’s
something for everyone to enjoy and explore.
On behalf of the Student Union and the entire school, I want to thank you for being
here. We hope you leave today feeling inspired and excited about the possibilities
ahead. Welcome once again, and enjoy your visit!
Proposal to Establish a New Football Club
Dear Principal,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to propose the establishment of a new
Football Club at our school. Football is a sport that many students are passionate
about, and currently, there is no formal club to support their interest and enthusiasm.
Creating a Football Club would provide a structured and inclusive platform for
students to develop their skills, engage in regular physical activity, and foster
teamwork and school spirit.
The club would organize weekly training sessions, encourage participation from
students of all skill levels, and arrange friendly matches with other schools. We
would also seek to appoint a faculty advisor to guide the club and ensure proper
supervision. This initiative aims to enrich our school’s extracurricular activities and
promote a healthy, active lifestyle among students.
I believe that the establishment of a Football Club will greatly benefit our student
community by offering new opportunities for engagement and personal growth. I
kindly seek your approval and support to move forward with this proposal.
Thank you very much for considering this request. I am happy to discuss any details
or answer any questions you may have.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Wong
Proposal to Organize a Farewell Party for Form 6 Students
Dear Principal,
I am writing to propose that the Student Union organize a farewell party to honor our
Form 6 students as they complete their final year. The Form 6 students have shown
great dedication and resilience throughout their studies, and it would be fitting to
celebrate their achievements and provide a meaningful send-off as they prepare for
the next stage of their lives.
The farewell party would be a school-wide event that encourages participation from
students, teachers, and staff. It would include speeches, entertainment, and
opportunities to reflect on memorable moments shared during their time at school.
The goal is to foster a sense of closure and celebration, strengthening the bonds
within our school community.
I believe this event will create lasting positive memories for the graduating students
and demonstrate our appreciation for their hard work. I kindly request your approval
and support to proceed with the planning and organization of this farewell party.
Thank you for your attention to this proposal. Please let me know if you require any
further information.
Yours sincerely,
Chris Wong
