SCRIPT
Master Tab Overview:
Here we are going to enter details of Rajhans Private Limited in our software.
As we open the software we will go to the master tab and click on -
1. From COMPANY MASTER we will create the company detail we will
enter the CIN no of the Rajhans Private Limited and click on pre-fill all
the details will be fetched from the MCA portal.
2. We will click on director master, now as we have already got the data
through CIN no. you just have to click on auto fill and the directors will
be auto fetched here then save it.
3. Through AUDITOR MASTER, we will enter the auditor’s details, such as
the auditor firm name, the auditor’s signing report name, and the PAN
of the auditor or auditor firm. You can also verify the auditor’s
membership number using this option.
4. In TAXONOMY MASTER, we will select the appropriate taxonomy for the
company and specify the year for which you are preparing the data.
Ensure you SAVE THE DATA after making your selections.
5. Here in NARATION MASTER we will set up shortcut keys for tagging
data. For example, if you want to assign F10 as the shortcut key for the
tag NIL, enter this shortcut and click Save.
6. In DOCUMENT MASTER, we will upload all relevant financial and non-
financial statement documents that need to be in excel and word format
as software doesn’t accept any other format.
7. Now if you want to upload data from previous year then you have to
change the year of the software as previous year. Go to master, click on
change year > go to utilities> click on import XML > select the previous
year XML of Rajhans Private Limited > click on upload and the XML will
be uploaded > now change the year as current year in the software and
start working on financial tagging.
Financial Tagging, Notes Tagging, XML Generation, and MCA
Validation:
1. FINANCIAL TAGGING
1. To start financial tagging, first upload the document from document
master.
2. Open the Financial Tagging section and allow the taxonomy to upload.
3. Overview of the Financial Tagging Interface:
o On the left-hand side, you will see the company’s balance sheet.
o On the right-hand side, you will see the XBRL taxonomy elements.
4. At the top right, choose the financial statement you want to tag. Use the
SEARCH option (or Ctrl+S) to find elements in the taxonomy.
5. Before starting tagging, go to Utilities > Reset Settings:
o Label Column No.: Indicates where particulars are listed in the
financial statement.
o Column Difference: Defines the difference in columns between
the current and previous year.
o Level of Rounding: Sets the amount according to the balance
sheet.
6. Tag elements one by one:
o Select a particular from the balance sheet, find the corresponding
element in the taxonomy, and double-click it to tag. The amount
will turn green in the balance sheet.
o Alternatively, you can copy the amount, navigate to the relevant
element, and paste it, or type it manually.
7. After tagging the balance sheet, verify for discrepancies. If the difference
is zero, all elements are tagged correctly. If differences are found or
some heads remain red, it indicates incomplete tagging.
o To resolve, right-click the head and select Line Item. The software
will navigate to the notes where you can complete the tagging.
o As you tag the notes, the head will turn green, indicating correct
mapping. Ensure all red heads are turned green.
8. Additional features:
o Remove Tagging: Right-click on the head to remove a tag.
o Go to Linked Cell: Locate the amount in your financials from
where it’s tagged.
o Footnote: Add information for any year.
o View Details: Provides details of amounts and relevant line items,
useful for clarifying discrepancies.
9. To fill relevant tables:
o Select the head, right-click, and go to Note. Double-tap the T head
to access the table.
o Upload supporting documents from the Documents option at the
top left corner. Adjust and tag the amounts by double-clicking.
Once tagged, the head will turn green.
o For explanatory text blocks, double-tap the E head, add notes
using F2, and save.
2. NOTES TAGGING
1. Go to Utilities > Other Settings and select the PDF format (either MCA or
general). Use F8 for quick access to other settings.
2. Format the details into Excel for better PDF presentation.
3. In Excel:
o Select the text, find the relevant header, press F2, and paste the
data. Use Auto Format and save.
4. Mandatory items to tag:
o Category 1: Share capital, changes in equity, borrowings,
investments, PPE, accounting policies, corporate information,
financial instruments, fair value, employee benefits, earnings per
share, CSR, director's report, auditor's report, and secretarial
auditor report.
o Category 2: Other notes, textual information, sub-classifications,
income and expenses notes, assets and liabilities, additional profit
and loss disclosures, and additional balance sheet disclosures.
5. Perform detailed tagging of the director’s report and auditor’s report
using the same tagging methods.
3. GENERATE XML
1. To generate the XML, navigate to Generate > you need to select the
current year and its board meeting date then select the previous year
and its board meeting date.
2. Click on Generate > It will show you errors you need solve these errors
one by one by double clicking on the error > it will take you to its
location in the taxonomy, you have to tag it.
3. After resolving all the errors >click on Generate again to start converting
the file to XML.
4. Choose a location to save the XML file and save it on your desktop.
4. MCA VALIDATION
1. Open the MCA Validation Tool and select Ind-AS 2017. Click OK to load
the taxonomy.
2. Go to File > Open and select the XML file you want to validate.
3. Click OK to load the document, then go to Validate > Validate. The
validation window will open, showing a list of errors with color-coded
differentiation:
o Green: Tables
o Orange: Members
o Purple: Line Items
4. Click on the underlined labels to navigate directly to the notes where the
errors occur.
5. Resolve all errors to obtain an error-free XML file.
6. Pre-scrutinize the file by going to File > Pre-scrutinize > Yes. Click OK
once pre-scrutinizing is complete.
7. The document is now ready to be converted into PDF. Go to File > PDF to
save the document as a PDF.
