judges, teachers, participants, and all my dear friends,
it is my honour to extend a warm welcome to each of
you to our Inter House Debate Competition on the
topic Environmental Development And Sustainability.
Your presence here today is a testament to your
commitment to nurturing talent and fostering
intellectual growth within our school community.
Today we have with us our judges Ma’am Mallika Rego
Nazareth and Ma’am Usha Sharma.
Ma’am Mallika Rego Nazareth has done her academia
at St. Xavier's College in Mumbai that has equipped her
with invaluable critical thinking skills. Building upon
this foundation, her professional tenure as a financial
credit analyst at Care India Ratings has nurtured her as
a keen eye for detail and analytical prowess.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, She has been deeply
committed to educational initiatives aimed at fostering
holistic learning environments.
Furthermore, her engagement in performing arts
during her time at Mithibai College has not only
enhanced her communication skills but also instilled
her in a profound appreciation for the arts, adding a
creative dimension to her perspective.

have mam Usha [Link]’am is a post graduate
teacher who is also sincere and dedicated towards her
work. She is gold medalist in Bachelor Of Education and
over 7 Years experience as Vice Principal in P.S Temple
Green Vidyaasharam,Chennai. She also has 15 Years
experience as a secondary teacher and was awarded as
best teacher in 2018. Ma’am Usha Sharma has
attended many CBSE Workshops & Seminars and also
she has organised few Workshops on Life Skill in
Schools.

taking out your prescious time from the busy schedule.
Moving further Today, we have gathered to celebrate
the art of argumentation, critical thinking, and
eloquent expression. As we witness the clash of ideas
and the exchange of perspectives, let us remember the
importance of respectful discourse and open-
mindedness.
To our debaters, I commend you for your courage in
stepping onto this platform and defending your
viewpoints. Your dedication to research, preparation,
and public speaking is truly commendable, and I have
no doubt that you will inspire us all with your passion
and intellect.

Each team would be given 2 minutes to speak for the
motion and against the motion.
A buzzer will be rung 15 seconds before the 2 minutes
in order to remind you that the time is going to be up
and you have to wind your presentation.
Then the final buzzer will be rung at the end of 2
minutes.
