Technique: 2 Dimensional real time ultrasonogram of gravid uterus done with 3-5 MHz convex /7-9
MHz Transvaginal transducer.

Gest. Age by LMP : 8 wks 1 day
EDD by LMP : 16/05/2025
Gest. Age by USG : 8 wks 0 days
EDD by USG : 17/05/2025

Uterus is anteverted and enlarged, myometrial echoes are normal.

An intra uterine gestational sac with regular, well-defined sac walls and surrounding thick decidual
reaction.

Perisac area is normal.

Yolk sac noted. Fetal pole of CRL measures 1.66 cm corresponds to 8 wks 0 days.

Fetal cardiac activity was present at the time of scan. FHR : 170 bpm.

Cervix measures 3.6 cm. Internal Os is closed.

Right ovary is normal. Left ovary shows CL cyst.

No fluid in POD.

CONCLUSION :

• Single live intra uterine gestation corresponding to 8 wks detected at the time of
scan.
