QA Senior Manager

Role Summary:
The QA Senior Manager will take ownership of all aspects related to proactive quality management, by defining
and implementing a QAMS in the company with a focus on supply chain management to address supplier quality qualification
parameters, product regulatory compliance with destination countries (including ensuring relevant product testing and
certification), supplier quality compliance, and pre-production sample process improvement.
In preparation for an ISO 9001 certification, the QA Senior Manager will report to the Head of Supply Chain and will play a
central role in driving supplier compliance with quality standards while also improving internal processes across Sales, Sales
Support, Design, and Production teams mainly.
The role will involve initially 60/70% office-based work and 30/40% fieldwork at supplier factories, providing a hands-on
approach to monitoring and improving quality processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Definition & Implementation of the QA management system in the Group
o Identify and define the proper QAMS to be implemented for the Company given, its activities, network,
structure, culture and risks.
o Implement both a very short term QAMS to deal with immediately existing risks and a more medium and long
term QAMS to accompany the Company growth.
2. Oversight of Product compliance and testing
o Establish, define and control QC testing requirements, parameters and reports (from third parties or
internal) for all products, ensuring all products undergo the necessary tests to meet quality and regulatory
standards of the country of destination for the client.
o Collaborate with all internal teams as well as suppliers to ensure testing protocols are consistently applied
and in accordance with all legislation and regulation.
3. Pre-Production Sample Process Improvement
o Take ownership of optimizing the Pre-Production Sample process, ensuring efficient workflows, faster
feedback loops, and higher-quality samples.
o Streamline the approval process to minimize delays and address any quality concerns before mass
production begins.
4. Supplier Quality Compliance & Monitoring
o Own supplier quality compliance by ensuring that suppliers perform and deliver in accordance with all
regulatory and quality requirements.
o Implement regular quality audits of suppliers' processes to ensure adherence to quality expectations and
company standards, identifying gaps or areas for improvement.
5. Promote quality culture within the Group & Process Ownership
o Create, document, and standardize QA/QC processes across all stages of product development and
production in accordance with all applicable norms and standards.
o Lead training sessions for Sales, Sales Support, Design, and Production teams to ensure understanding and
consistent application of QA/QC processes and protocols.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong Experience in Quality Assurance: Over 10 years in a similar role with emphasis on quality assurance
management system definition, or a very robust QC experience having evolved to QA oversight.
• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 principles and certification processes, with a track record of implementing or
leading ISO-compliant systems.
• Broad Experience with regulatory Testing requirements: Strong knowledge of regulatory testing methodologies,
and industry standards for a very diversified list of products (from children toys to electronics, through garments and
else), with the ability to review and control third party testing proposals and reports.
• Pre-Production Sample Process Expertise: Experience in managing or improving pre-production sample workflows,
with a focus on efficiency, quality, and minimizing delays.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze quality data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve
quality processes.
• Quality Culture Promoter: Demonstrated ability to create, document, and standardize QA/QC work processes and
train internal teams across departments (Sales, Sales Support, Design, Production).
• Fluency in English and fair level of Mandarin
