Abstract: ServiceNow is a leading cloud-based platform designed to streamline enterprise workflows

through automation and digital transformation. Originally developed as an IT Service Management (ITSM)
solution, it has since evolved to encompass a wide array of enterprise operations including IT Operations
Management (ITOM), Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), and
Security Operations (SecOps). This paper explores the architecture, modules, development capabilities, and
real-world applications of ServiceNow, highlighting its impact on modern organizational efficiency and
digital agility.

reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. Workflow automation platforms like ServiceNow provide an
integrated approach to achieving these goals. This paper discusses the evolution, core functionalities, and
strategic advantages of ServiceNow.

2. ServiceNow Platform Overview ServiceNow offers a unified platform-as-a-service (PaaS) architecture

that allows organizations to automate and manage workflows across various business functions. Built on
JavaScript and utilizing a multi-instance model, it ensures data isolation, security, and high customizability
for each tenant.

Enables real-time visibility and automation for IT infrastructure. - ITBM: Provides tools for project portfolio
and agile management. - HRSD: Streamlines HR tasks such as onboarding, case management, and
knowledge sharing. - CSM: Facilitates efficient resolution of customer issues and proactive service delivery. -

design, powerful development tools, and robust integration capabilities make it a key enabler for enterprise
