NORMAL DISTRIBUTION:
Normal distribution, also known as the Gaussian distribution
It is a probability distribution that is symmetric about the mean
it shows that data near the mean are more frequent in occurrence than data far from the mean
In graphical form, the normal distribution appears as a "bell shaped curve".

STEPS TO FIND NORMAL DISTRIBUTION

1) Data X and its corresponding frequencies F(X)are given , calculate the sum of all frequencies using syntax =
2) Now add a heading p(x) which denotes probability of x whose values will be calculated by using the comman
3) Make sure that sum of p(x) should be 1 , find it by using syntax =SUM(RANGE1:RANGE2)
4) Select a new column and give heading MEAN .Calculate mean for every cell by using the command =X*P(X)
5) Sum up all the values of mean using the syntax=SUM(RANGE1:RANGE2)
6) Select a new column give heading variance and calculate variance for each cell
7) For variance we use this formula square of (x-mean)*p(x) we will use the command =(x-$column$cell)^2*p(x)
8) Now sum up all the values of variance using the syntax=SUM(RANGE1:RANGE2)
9) For standard deviation find root of sum of variance by using syntax =SQRT(RANGE)
10) Select a column for normal distribution and calculate using syntax=[Link](X,MEAN,STD,FALSE) put required
11) Select all cells with normal distribution then click 'insert' select chart type and further select 'lines with points' yo

Column G
DOT
A dot plot, also known as a strip plot or dot chart, is a simple form of data
visualization that consists of data points plotted as dots on a graph with an x- and y-axis
These types of charts are used to graphically depict certain data trends or groupings

STEPS TO MAKE DOT PLOT

1) visualization that consists of data points plotted as dots on a graph with an x- and y-axis
2. Now use command ‘=COUNTIF(<range>,<cellrange>)’, in adjacent cell of next column, to
