RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYAT RAJ DEPARTMENT
APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL OFFICERS TO VILLAGE PANCHAYATS, PANCHAYAT UNION COUNCILS AND DISTRICT
PANCHAYATS UNDER THE TAMIL NADU PANCHAYATS ACT.
AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATIONS
[G.O. Ms. No. 71, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR-1), 30th June 2017.]
No. II(2)/RDPR/532(g-1)/2017.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 261-A of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21 of
1994), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj
Department Notification No. II(2)/RDPR/687(d-1)/2016, published at page 1 of Part II - Section 2 of the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016, as subsequently amended.
2. This Notification shall come into force with effect on and from the 1st July 2017.
AMENDMENT
In the said Notification, for the expression “until the 30th day of June 2017”, the expression “until the
31st day of December 2017” shall be substituted.

Department Notification No. II(2)/RDPR/687(d-2)/2016, published at pages 2-12 of Part II - Section 2 of the
Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 24th October 2016 as subsequently amended.
2. This Notification shall come into force with effect on and from the 1st July 2017.
