II. Significant Accomplishment/s within the year (SY 2023-2024)

In the school year 2023-2024, Project EARN (Enrichment Activities and

Remediation in Numeracy) achieved several significant accomplishments in math,
contributing to substantial progress in both pupils performance and engagement. One of
the standout achievements was a notable increase in math proficiency rates, with data
showing that a larger percentage of students reached proficiency or advanced levels in
math compared to previous years. This accomplishment reflects the effectiveness of the
targeted instructional strategies and interventions implemented through the project.

Another key achievement was the boost in pupils’ engagement and positive attitudes
toward math. Through interactive and innovative approaches, Project EARN made math
more accessible and enjoyable, leading to higher levels of participation during lessons and
greater student confidence in tackling complex math problems. Feedback from pupils and
parents revealed a growing enthusiasm for math, with many expressing newfound interest
in the subject.

Additionally, Project EARN help teachers, equipping them with effective teaching strategies
to support diverse learning needs in math. As a result, teachers reported enhanced
classroom dynamics, with students showing improved critical thinking and problem-solving
skills. These accomplishments demonstrate that Project EARN not only elevated academic
performance but also fostered a positive, growth-oriented math learning environment.

The contributions and innovations within Project STEPS in Mathematics had a

multifaceted impact on student learning and engagement.

Firstly, by focusing on measurable improvements, Project STEPS has shown significant

positive outcomes in student performance, as evidenced by improved assessment scores
and increased proficiency levels. Through targeted interventions and structured support,
more pupils are achieving higher levels of math proficiency, which reflects the project’s
effectiveness in raising academic standards.

Moreover, Project SET has had a notable effect on pupil’s engagement and motivation.
Observations reveal heightened participation and enthusiasm during math lessons,
suggesting that the project fosters a more positive and interactive learning environment.
Student surveys indicate a shift in attitudes toward math, with many pupils expressing
greater enjoyment and confidence in the subject.

The program also supports critical thinking and problem-solving skills development,
essential components for mathematical proficiency. Students exhibit improved abilities in
areas such as arithmetic, logical reasoning, and conceptual understanding, which are
critical for long-term academic success. Additionally, assessments suggest that Project
EARN aids in not only the immediate mastery of math concepts but also in retention, with
pupils demonstrating sustained knowledge over time.

Teachers involved in Project EARN have reported valuable insights as well. The project
encourages innovative teaching strategies, with many educators noting how new methods
have enhanced pupil engagement and understanding. Feedback from teachers and other
stakeholders indicates that the project supports a dynamic and responsive approach to
math instruction, ultimately creating a more effective learning environment.

Finally, comprehensive data collection, including surveys, interviews, and post-test,

highlights both quantitative gains and qualitative improvements. This well-rounded data
collection framework allows for a nuanced understanding of Project EARN has impact,
