Applicant’s reason for choosing to study the applied course at UTAS:
Every student aspires to study at one of the World’s best Universities and
colleges. Following considerable research on various Universities and
colleges, including KOI, VU. Finally, I chose UTAS since the program’s
duration is longer than that of other colleges, allowing me to gain a better
understanding about Professional Accounting- Financial Planning. UTAS is
known around the World for its high academic standards in the form of
flexible program, and erudite facilities. Moreover, the University provides
co-op possibilities, which will allow students to confront real-life challenges
and get practical understanding about areas that are difficult to express
conceptually. UTAS is located in Hobart, Tasmania. which has an excellent
weather condition and the cost of living is relatively cheap when compared
to other University in Australian province. Tuition fees are largely similar
between University; however, UTAS includes several amenities in tuition
fees, such as a bus pass, health insurance, and access to numerous other
organizations and events.
The course that I opted is Master of Professional Accounting- Financial
Planning. It is a two year course that provides a full understanding of
Accounting and Finance. Throughout the course, I will learn about
Accounting, Finance, ethics and skill necessary to succeed in the accounting
profession, which will also give me fundamental understanding of financial
accounting, management accounting and taxation. The two-year program
also includes co-op opportunities, which will help me improve all of the
lessons taught in the class by professor. Through co-op, I will be able to gain
Australian work experience, which will greatly benefit my resume while
searching for jobs in Nepal.
The PTE score inspired me to pursue higher education in an International
destination. After conducting some research, I opted to pursue my further
studies in Australia because of the affordable tuition fees, low crime rates
and excellent health care. Moreover, a degree from a University in Australia
is highly valued by companies around the world, particularly in Nepal. In
Australia, I will be able to study alongside people from other cultures,
ethnicities, and communities, which will improve my communication
abilities and provide valuable exposure to multiculturalism. Furthermore,
well known Nepali Universities do not provide the specific course that I
would like to pursue in UTAS.

Future Career/ Educational Plans after completing the course:

After finishing my studies at UTAS, I intend to return back to Nepal with a
wealth of knowledge in Professional Accounting – Financial Planning and
work experience in the Australian job market. In a short run, I would like to
earn basic packages provided in Australia as per the Governments minimum
wage norm. In a long run, I would work in some of the MNC’s in Nepal like
Unilever Nepal Ltd, Bottlers Nepal, and Chaudhary Group etc. It would be
easier for me to find a job in Nepal and get handsome Annual salary and
allowances since many of MNC’s prefer an International degree.
In Nepal, I have a family, whom I am to take care of as my parents are
ageing. Furthermore, I have all my friends and relatives in Nepal; therefore,
I need to be there to enjoy my social life. My life would be incomplete if my
parents and friends are not by my side.
