To Whom It May Concern:

Agrarian greetings!

This refers to the claim of the heirs of Pelagio Lighidan (the “Heirs”) over
the parcel of land identified as Lot 1689, Pls-67 embraced under Transfer
Certificate of Title No. (P-2301)-1330 located per tax declaration at
Poblacion, Rosario, Agusan del Sur (the “Lot”).

Accordingly, please be informed that the Department of Agrarian Reform,


Provincial Office of Agusan del Sur (the “Office” or “DARPO-ADS”) has
already acted on the matter per its letter dated June 19, 2023 (Annex
“A”) stating, among others, that the conveyances being questioned by the Heirs
involving the Lot is an issue which this Office is not in the position to resolve.

Similarly, in a separate letter dated March 21, 2023 (Annex “B”) addressed to Mr.
Jerome H. Albia, Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer (CENRO)
of Bunawan, San Isidro, Agusan del Sur, Office of the Community Environment and
Natural Resources, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, DARPO-
ADS made it clear that the Lot subject matter of the Heirs’ claim was turned-over to
DAR for coverage and the same is currently occupied by the DAR Agrarian Reform
Beneficiaries.

In view whereof, DARPO-ADS earnestly hope that the foregoing explanations


sufficiently addressed the concerns raised herein to consider this matter closed.
