Materials
Coral Basket ● 180-190 yards Lion Brand ZZ Twist
colorway Coral (worsted weight, 246
yards per 100g ball)
● 5mm (H) crochet hook
● Notions (scissors, yarn needle, locking
stitch marker)

Directions
1. Begin with a magic ring of 6 sc. (6 sts)
2. Make 2 sc in each st. Place a stitch
marker in the first stitch of the round. (12
sts)
3. *1 sc, 2 sc in next stitch* repeat from * to
* 5 more times. Replace marker in first
stitch of round. (18 sts)
4. *2 sc, two single crochets in next stitch*
repeat from * to * 5 more times. Replace
Abbreviations
marker in first stitch of round
sc = single crochet
5. Continue increasing, working one more
dc = double crochet sc before the increase for 14 more
st = stitch rounds. (You should have 102 sts at the
end of 18 total rounds)
blo = working in the back loops only
6. Work one round of sc in blo, then work
sk= skip 20 rounds of sc.
magic ring or magic circle = method of 7. Sk 2, 5 dcs in next st, sk 2, 1 sc in next st,
beginning to work in the round. here’s a repeat from * until last two stitches, skip
helpful YouTube video on how to do it: 2, slip st in first stitch of round.
