Accessories YARN ABBREVIATIONS
1 ball of LISBOA from Rosários 4, colour 26 (50 g/ 125 m) – colour A. K: knit
1 ball of LISBOA from Rosários 4, colour 18 (50 g/ 125 m) – colour B. P: purl
cm: centimeters
NEEDLES st/sts: stitch/stitches
2.5 mm. yo: yarn over
P1tbl: purl 1 st through back loop
INSTRUCTIONS K3tog: knit 3 stitches together
With colour A, cast on 3 sts and work the increases:
P2tog: purl 2 stitches together
Row 1 (WS): P3
Row 2 (RS): (K1, yo) x 2, K1 [5 sts]
Row 3: (P1, P1tbl) x 2, P1
Row 4: (K1, yo) x 3, K2 [8 sts]
Row 5: P2, (P1tbl, P1) x 3
Work the petals:
Row 6: K1, (K1, turn work and cable cast on 3 sts, bind off these
3 sts, turn work, K1) x 3, K1
Row 7: P8
Repeat rows 6 and 7, 6 more times.
Decrease to the stem:
Row 20: K1, K3tog x 2, K1 [4 sts]
Row 21: P1, P2tog, P1 [3 sts]
Change to colour B and work the stem in i-cord: [K3, slip the 3 sts
back to left hand needle] repeat until the stem measures 10 cm
long. Cut the yarn and pull it through the 3 sts to close the work.
Seam the flower with mattress stitch.
